I had read reviews about Mr. Lee being pushy after we booked him. However, after our engagement session, I was reassured. Our engagement pictures were beautiful. Our package was pricey, but included a lot of extras. However, this is where the positives with Sae Lee Portrait Gallery end. On the wedding day Mr. Lee showed up sans the 2nd photographer (even though I called to confirm). He said that she was sick & not to worry. I was upset since we went with Sae Lee specifically for the 2nd photographer. Then, to make matters worse, he became very pushy when I went to meet my soon-to-husband before we took pictures. (We were taking pictures before the ceremony - it was important to have a private moment together.) Mr. Lee recommended including the bridal party in the shot & when I said no and began moving toward the door, he physically blocked me from going out. He then went outside to tell my fiance that I wanted the bridal party there. Fortunately, my fiance knew better & told him no, as well. His photos were not photo journalistic, as many were posed. Also, we missed out on many shots w/o the 2nd photographer. There were no good close-ups of our first kiss or first dance. Also, he nearly missed the ring exchange because he was photographing the guests! Having seen our guests' snapshots, they took better pictures than Sae Lee. Of the 900 shots, we found 54 that we even liked & only about 15 that we loved. To compensate for the 2nd photographer, they discounted on our parents' albums. However, it was the exact price of the 2nd photographer & nothing extra to compensate for our distress. She also tried raising the price of our parents' albums. She quoted one thing when I picked up the proofs & quoted twice as much when we were dropping off the proofs for the albums. Good thing I had her write down the first quote! Aside from Mr. Lee being punctual & his wife, Karen, being friendly & returning calls, there is very little that pleased us about Sae Lee Portrait Gallery.
Pros: Quick turn-around on proofs and phone calls
Cons: Pricey without the quality
