My biggest regret from my Wedding is going to Sadie's Bridal. They are by far the most unprofessional business I dealt with. I bought my dress, bridesmaid dresses, shoes that they were dying and did alterations there. The seamstress insisted on sewing cups in my dress that I did not want. They ordered the wrong belt so we had to rush order the correct belt and my shoes were not dyed. They promised the shoes would be dyed by my final fitting. My Bridesmaids dresses came in in the wrong size also. So, a couple girls needed to return their dress and rush order new ones. My major problem happened at my final fitting My shoes were not dyed and when I asked the manager Kim why they weren't she gave me an attitude and said the dye just came in even though they had my shoes for about 3 months and promised they would be done by my final fitting. The seamstress sewed my belt on completely loop-sided and caused terrible markings on the front of my dress from where she sewed in the cups- that I did not want. I was upset and while I confronted the manager I had to actually tell her not to raise her voice at me. We ended up staying there for 2 hours trying to fix what was wrong with my dress. I still felt uneasy about them having my dress, but they said they were ""too busy"" to let me come in a few days before the Wedding to try it and and get it steamed. When they dyed the shoes it was another disaster. The red dye streaked inside the shoe and had dark red streaks on the sole of the shoe that were noticeable when worn. the diamond gem was not covered during the process and every other gem was now a pinkish tone. They told me I was out of luck because there was not enough time to order new shoes. They tried to charge me over $400 for poorly done alterations and when I refused and walked out with my FULLY paid dress they told me I was technically stealing it. So 6 days before my Wedding I had a dress that was not steamed, poorly altered that still had markings in the fabric. Brides just stay away... they will only add stress to your day.
