FIXING A PROBLEM IN YOUR UNIT TAKES A WEEK BEFORE THE OFFICE WILL SEND A HANDYMAN. I TALKED TO THE OFFICE CLERK, AND TOLD HER THE PROBLEM. WE ARRANGED THE DATE AND I FOLLOWED UP IN THE MORNING OF THE APPOINTMENT TIME(AFTERNOON). SHE SAID SHE'LL TAKE CARE OF IT. AT 4:00 PM, THE HANDYMAN DIDN'T SHOW UP YET. I CALLED UP SEVERAL TIMES AND AND NOBODY ANSWERED THE PHONE IN THE OFFICE. I WENT TO THE OFFICE AT 5:00 PM, AND SHE TOLD ME THEY'RE TOO BUSY, AND SHE TOLD ME TO WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT DAY FOR THEM TO FIX IT. IRONICALLY, TWO MAINTENANCE GUYS ARE IN THE OFFICE, JUST SITTING AND CHATTING. I SHOWED SOME IRRITATION AND TOLD THE CLERK THAT IT SHOULD BE FINISHED TODAY BECAUSE I ALREADY MADE SOME ARRANGEMENTS ON MY SCHEDULE SO I'LL BE HOME TO OPEN THE DOOR FOR THE HANDYMAN. IT WAS ONLY THAT TIME SHE SENT THE HANDYMAN TO FIX THE PROBLEM. AS A LONG TIME CUSTOMER(2 YEARS LIVING IN THE COMPLEX) AND FRIEND, I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE FUTURE RENTERS TO COME TO THIS PLACE AND LIVE HERE, UNLESS THE OFFICE STAFF ARE REPLACED WITH CUSTOMER-ORIENTED EMPLOYES.
