Re-opened and now called Dirty Bassdardo's. We were VERY surprised, we had been given a Sachdabo's gift certificate, which they honored! The decor was great! The service unbeliveably friendly! The food was outstanding! The menu was impressive.We ate like kings and brought some home for $52.00 for two which included appetizer, entree, and dessert!!!! We can't wait to go back!!!!! JUST AMAZING! more

Yummy find 5/30/2006

I recently went with friends to check out Sachdabo's, which re-opened after doing some renovations. On Route 9D in Wappingers Falls, the restaurant has an eclectic mix of small plates (tapas) and bigger entrees. We tried a fondue and some small plates that we shared amongst the four of us. The food is creative and well prepared. The restaurant has an extensive wine list that changes regularly. This is a gourmet restaurant in a town where you wouldn't expect to find one. Prices are reasonable for the quality; we spent a good $50 or more on the two of us, but it was well worth it. more
