Sabor Latno Mexican Restaurant

We had high hopes for this Ecuadorian restaurant and couldn't wait to introduce our friends and colleagues to this branch of Latin favor. It's a good thing we decided to try it before bringing a big group because Sabor Latino was a big let-down. The fact that We were the only guests on a balmy Thursday evening already lowered our expectations, but we were still hugely disappointed that all the meat dishes were over-cooked and all the sauces were one-dimentional. The carne asada was particularly tough and flavorless. The empanadas were probably from frozen. The mango shake had barely a hint of mango. I could go on. On the plus side, the service was okay, the portions were adequate, and the parking was not as bad as everyone said it would be. more

This restaurant is within walking distance from the el at 69th street terminal. It has a cuban, mexican, equadorian, and columbian food on the menu. It has very good drinks and fairly good food. I love the rope writing of the restaurant. They have live entertainment on weekends. There are some vegetarian options. I think I even found something that was vegan. more
