I've been going to Sabino's Salon for over 10 years now. I have Maribel, the owner do my hair, but all the ladies there are capable and I've them do things for me too. more

I've tried a lot of other salons, but Sabino is simply the best. The staff is professional and they always make me feel right at home. My haircuts and color always look fantastic and I can count on receiving many compliments about my hair after going there. I had my hair and makeup done there for my wedding, along with my wedding party. Thanks to Maribel and Jackie, I felt beautiful and confident on my wedding day and my wedding party looked great. It's obvious these girls know what they're doing. I also love the atmosphere there - clients and staff all joined in conversation, upbeat music - I always have a good time. I highly recommend this salon! more

I loooooove this salon, after years of being unable to find a trustworthy place to get my hair done I finally found Sabino. I have had my hair styled by many different employees and it always comes out fabulous. This last time was done by Maribel and I have to say thank you, I get so many compliments on how cute my hair is. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SALON! <3 more

I highly recommend this salon. Maribel (the owner) has been my stylist for YEARS and I love her! She has taken me from red to blond and back to brown throughout the years and my hair has always looked great. I always get compliments on how nice and healthy my hair looks. Maribel treats you like a friend not a client and she is always honest about what hairstyle or color will look good or not. The whole atmosphere is very friendly. All the girls there are great! I have recommended friends and family throughout the years and they are all very happy with the salon. I highly recommend you give them a try, you won't regret it but you will come out of there looking more fabulous :) Pros: The best hairstyle you'll ever have more

Coming from my experience, i honestly feel for this salon, they need to be more experience with what each individual is doing. All they tend to do is talk about everyon e in the salon i caught them a few times, and that is soooooo rude they make me feel so uncomfortabel i feel that if i walk out of there im in there mouth too! what can i say........ok salon will not recommend to anyone! Its more like a BAR than a Hair Salon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well not much to say, wasteing my time on this! more

I just got my hair done yesterday at Sabino's and yet again, I leave very satisfied. My hair color and hair cut turned out perfect. No complaints here!!! I definitely recommend!!! more

This review will not be riddled with exclamation points or caps - just a sincere and honest review of the best salon I've been to in the San Gabriel Valley. I've been to lots of salons over the years, including high-end chains like Carlton and high end boutique salons in Pasadena, and Maribel is the only person who not only took the time to discuss with me what type of cut I wanted and what would flatter my face and body type, but then delivered a cut that was exactly what I envisioned and 100% to my satisfaction. She cut my hair short and gave me a great ""graduated bob"". That night, my friend saw my hair and actually took a picture of it because it was exactly what she has been trying to achieve and never had been able to achieve despite countless trips to different stylists. She ended up going to Maribel herself and was completely happy with the results of her cut, too. I have been going to Sabino Salon off and on for the past 13 years, and even though they went through a change of ownership, and the new staff has a different style from the old staff, I never saw a decline in quality. One thing I will say is that the staff is very friendly and talkative. Just make sure you give yourself a good window of time - a couple of hours at least. Sabino Salon is definitly the BEST place to get your hair done. All the hair stylist are super friendly and talkative whenevern I go in. My hair stylist is Breanda and she always get's my hair just right. I always get highlights & tonned to a blond color and she always does a great job! They do everything from extensions to hair cuts, color, treatments and have a variety of different hair products for you to purchase if you need to. Everyone's hair that I have seen ends up looking AMAZING! Pros: Excellent service, always stisfied with my hair. Cons: parking is difficult sometimes but it is out of Sabino's hands. more

I love going to my hair stylist Erika she's is the BOMB! I always get compliments on my hair. She always goes above and beyond to meet my expectations with my hard to mange hair. Overall all the girls do an amazing job all though Erika is my stylists, I'll trust any of the girls with my hair. They are true professionals & what they do. It is a pleasure to be around them they have you walking out feeling like a million buck's. Sine I've been going to them I've not once heard anyone speak badly about anyone. Sabino Salon knows how to give a nice big warm welcome to each client that walks thru their doors. The girls always have a smile. They know how to make you feel right at home. I live close by and had a fear of getting my hair done by anyone since my last salon experience over 10 years ago. This summer however I was brave enough to go in and have my hair done. I went to Sabino's salon for the first time and was put completely at ease by the staff and there knowledge of hair. My hair was broken down to the science and treated with the safest and most suitable products. They tested my hair first and made sure to let me know what could and couldn't be done to my hair due to it's condition. I was happy and completely satisfied with the results of my highlights and base color. I was amazed at how much effort they put into my hair and how wonderfully they entertained my toddler while my hair was being done. Ashley and Maribel and the blonde (Erika) were great help.Tthe second time I went was with Brenda a very talented stylist that made me feel safe and confident in what my end result would be. I ca'nt wait to get my hair done I now try to go once a month just to get it washed and styled and always feel like a million bucks when I walk out. I highly recommend this hair salon to anyone who wants that certain look and are hesitant about going ..Let me assure you they know what they are doing here and you will be so surprised when you leave with something more then you expected.My mother lives in downey and wants to go next time I go.She is willing to drive just to get hair done since i always get copmpliments myself on my hair. I have been a client of Sabino Salon since late 2005 and until this date very satisfied with all of the services I get at the salon. I get my hair cut and colored by Maribel the owner (she is simply a sweetheart!) who is extremely talented and full of wonderful ideas to make you look your best. Maribel has always taken the time to really sit down and ask me what I want and also takes the time to share her ideas and suggestions as to new hair styles and color. I get my eyebrows done by Maggie who is very talented in doing the eyebrow threading. All in all the service I have received these almost three years has been great, not to mention the other staff members are nice and welcoming. Also, Vanesa always makes sure and ask me if everything is going ok and if my services went well. I really like that about the salon and about Vanesa. Cons: Great atmosphere! more

I recently got my hair cut and colored at Sabino. I made a complete change that I was always hesitant about but because I love Sabino and I completely trusted everyone there I went for a complete makeover and I am completely satisfied! Everyone I know loves my hair and I have never been so satisfied with the result! I advise every and anyone to go to Sabino. The prices are like other salons and yet with better and more experienced service. The entire staff is polite, sweet, fun and lively and there is very friendly service. It's not a salon to feel intimidated in or feel out of place, the girls are very down to earth and you actually have fun. I recommend Sabino to anyone. Sabino Salon is an awesome salon with great services and great employees. I was refered to them by a close friend who also loves them. I live almost 30 miles from the salon and drive all the way to them to get my hair done. When I went for my first hair-cut I got it done with Erika and she did an awsome job. My hair is not the easiest to work with but she did EXACTLY what I wanted. I knew from my first hair cut I would be returning here. The past several times I have been there, I have gotten my hair-cut with Maribel and she has done a fabulous job as well. She did my very first hair coloring in a salon and did a great job. I told her what I originally wanted and she suggested another color because of my skin complexion and it ended up turning out better than what I wanted. I have had some of her assistants help with my hair, but they all do a great job, so I had no compalints on any of them. I would definitely and have recommended this place to family and friends.
