Maria and Christina are so amazing and truly talented girls. I live in Los Angeles and was getting married in Boston in 7 months which is not a lot of time to find the dress you imagined as a little girl. Maria worked with my tight scheduling and created a masterpiece from scratch in just a few months along with set up 4 fittings in 2 days so everything was set for when I flew back for the big day. I felt like a princess and everyone ranted on how beautiful my dress was. Thank you for everything you really went above and beyond. You guys are the best! more

Dear Maria and Christina, I want to thank you in writing for all that you did to help make Angela's wedding day just perfect! Never have I seen a more stunningly beautiful bride (ok - so I am her mother)! But seriously, she looked amazing and you two had a lot to do with that! From helping to pick the right gown for her, to the jewelry, to re-creating my original veil into one that was unique to her and beautiful with the gown....all this was your doing! Your eye for - and attention to - detail is fantastic and your customer service skills are beyond compare! Every time we had an appointment, you made us feel so very welcomed (no matter how many family members we had with us) and as you know....we always hated to leave. You were so gracious (and fun)! I was referred by a co-worker to Sabella. I have a rather short engagement and really don't have much time to think about my dress. Maria, the owner, took the time and explained to me all of my options including custom-made gown. Before I went to Sabella, I already had my eye on a gown from another place. I couldn't decide whether to purchase the gown or have it custom-made. I went to the store a couple of times in the same week and Maria was super nice and patiently explained the differences and what I should expect. I didn't go with custom-made gown because of budget and also, I am just a nervous bride... (can't handle the pressure =). However, I am going to Sabella for alteration. I am sure they will do a wonderful job. Plus, Maria is super friendly, not-pushy, and super professional. I can't wait for my first fitting and I know I will be a very happy bride!!! After having done the bridal thing with my sister 4 years ago, and with my maid of honor 3 years ago, I was not looking forward to it for myself. We went everywhere, I saw the rudeness, dealt with the drama, and found it all around not a pleasant experience. A co-worker suggested I try Sabella Couture after hearing me moan and complain. She said that they were super nice and that two of her friends had both bought their gowns there, and were beyond pleased. One friend even went out of her way to call me and tell me that I ""absolutely had to go in and see Maria"". After so many raves from the girls I went. All I can say, is that they truly were wonderful. I ended up having them tweak one of their gowns for me, and it was perfect! No drama, no problems and no stress whatsoever. I wish everything had been as easy as my gown was! They also altered the gowns for my all of my bridesmaids, and there were no problems with those either. It was so nice to go somewhere that I felt I was treated well, and everyone was just honest. My wedding was great, and I loved, loved loved my gown!!! Highly, highly, highly recommended!!! I just got back from my destination wedding in Hawaii, and because all these reviews helped me so much, I just wanted to let everyone know what an awesome experience I had at Sabella Couture. From my beautiful gown, to the helpful staff, to the way they accommodated my crazy work schedule when I needed fittings, I could not be any happier than I am. They made everything so easy, and it was an all around great experience. I just dropped my gown off to be cleaned and preserved there, and once again it was so nice to be helped by the girls, who are all so nice and helpful. Definitely the best customer service of any of the stores I went to, and believe me I went to them all!!! Pros: they do have parking Cons: NONE!!! more

I was having trouble finding the simple, elegant gown I had always envisioned. As I described the gown I wanted, Maria drew a quick sketch of exactly what I was looking for. One of my co-workers goes to Sabella Couture to get his suits altered, and suggested that I check it out, He said that while he knew nothing about wedding gowns,it was a beautiful store with great customer service. After walking by and seeing an absolutely gorgeous window display I decided to make an appointment, but first I went online to do my research, as you always hear so many horror stories about bridal shops. What I found were nothing but great reviews. They have an absolutely gorgeous selection of gowns. They listened to everything I said and helped me find a gown that looked beautiful and was exactly what I wanted. They also helped me remain within my budget and did not try to push anyhting on me that was beyond it, like so many of the other shops I had gone to. Beautiful silk gowns starting at $900, I could not believe it. In a store like that I didn't expect to see anyhting at that price! Of course, I did see gowns that were up to $8000(out of my budget!!), and everything in between. A great selection, with something for everyone. I also have to say that everything that you read in these reviews is 100% true. They are so nice, helpful and honest. Maria(the owner?) is a real designer, and has more knowledge than your average salesperson. They actually make a lot of the gowns in the store! Christina, who helped me, was very helpful and in asking about changes that could be done did not just say anything to make the sale. She answered everything honestly, and when I had a question that she could not answer, she called Maria out to help.We ordered my gown that day, and felt like we were in the best hands possible. My gown came in right on time and has been altered perfectly, Of all the planning this was the easiest, the most pleasant, and all around the best experience. Definitely do yourself a favor, and check out Sabella Couture. I read a review from someone else who said that if they could give this store more stars they would, and I definitely agree! I discovered Sabella Couture when I was in a bit of a predicament: the dress shop from which I purchased my wedding gown ordered it in the *petite* version of the size I requested, and wouldn't take responsibility for their numerous errors. As a result, my wedding gown was simply too small. When I brought the dress to Sabella, the owner, Maria, examined it and calmly assessed the damage. To my surprise, she said she would be able to correct the many problems, and went about explaining how she would do it. I left the shop feeling relieved, and convinced I was in very, very good hands. I was in a wedding o n Long Island. The dress was ordered from a shop down there, where 7 of the bridesmaids had the dress altered. I decided to have mine done here. The women I worked with were sweet and very efficient. On the day of the wedding everyone else's dress was fit improperly--too much room in the chest, broken bustle, stitching that was pulling apart. I was the only one not scrambling for safety pins or tape. I sat patiently enjoying my mimosa. They did a fantastic job and although I paid slightly more than the other girls, it was well worth it!! I highly recommend anyone looking to have any dress altered to go to Sabella. I was beyond satisfied. more

Really nice store, with honest and helpful staff. I found a dress that I absolutely loved, except that I wanted something with sleeves. The designer at Sabella Couture customized the dress the way that I wanted. And I do not mean by slappling sleeves onto the dress, but by re-designing the top so that sleeves were incorporated into the design. I just picked up my gown, and they did an AMAZING job. It is exactly what I wanted!!! It is so beautiful, and extremely elegant. They are really wonderful here. They really go above and beyond to make their brides happy. I definitely recommend this shop. I found Sabella when the shop was still in Canton, MA. I walked by it all the time when I went to the gym. I was recently engaged and knew I was going to wear my Gramma's antique silk 1941 wedding gown and I needed it taken in. My larger cousin wore it 15 years before me so there was a lot of lesser-quality fabric added. I completely trusted Maria with my Gramma's gown and she did a perfect job. She even added a bustle where there wasn't one and tiny clear snaps to keep it from dragging. I liked Maria so much and told her I'd miss her. She said, ""Just bring in your jeans for hemming!"" Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous!!! Went to a few different bridal shops, and didn't really see anything different that I liked, except for one store, but they were so pushy that it made me very uncomfortable. Then one of my friends told me about the store. She goes there for alterations, and told me that they always have the nicest things, and that all the girls are super nice. I checked it out, and not only found the most beautiful gown, but they were so helpful and really nice too. It was the best experience, and I am getting my bridesmaids done there too. Amazing evening and bridal gowns!! Maria custom designed and created my wedding gown, my hand made Swarovski crystal tiara, and lace edged veil 7 years ago, they were a dream come true. Since then Maria has custom made 14 other cocktail dresses and evening gowns perfectly fit for me for other occasions. Maria also recently custom made my sister?s wedding gown and veil and my maid-of-honor gown and 3 of my friends? wedding gowns, they were all gorgeous! We always receive the best compliments when we wear Maria?s creations! Her detail work and beading is unbelievable. The lace edged veils she makes are so incredibly beautiful. i love this store! i live right around the corner, and happened to walk by. having just gotten engaged i went in. they were so nice and helpful, that i immediately set up an appointment. My appointment went really well, and the girls helped me find my dream dress! i just love it!!! Also, too they hemmed my too long jeans, and they did it exactly the same way i bought them. it is nice to have someone you can trust to do good work alter your clothes. i am so glad that they moved into the neighborhood!!! I had my wedding gown custom made at this shop, and it was the best experience! Everyone there was so nice and helpful! They have a beautiful selection, and they are so pleasant to work with. They were so much nicer here than most of the other shops that I went into. This is one store where customer service is really part of everything they do. It was a great experience. Also, I was able to get everything there, so everything went together really well! I got so many compliments on my wedding day! more
