I am a health care professional and had my first visit with Dr. Saad last week. He was not only informative, he asked me what my goals were, and how ""together"" we could achieve them. I explained that continuity of care with my other physicians was important and from there confirmed my physicians would receive any labs and updates from him. He spent a good deal of time with me, and I felt completely confident in his ability to treat my illness. Impressive that he read all my reports prior to my visit. Imagine that! So happy to find a physician I felt comfortable with and trust. more

I have been one of Dr. Saad's patients for over 10 years. Each and everytime I visit his office I am reminded of how thorough, kind, respectful and informative he is when caring for me. All of my questions have always been addressed with answers and explanations with honesty and compassion. At times my life style modifications were not what I wanted to hear; however, he was completely frank that my habits needed to change. Sometimes the truth is not what we want to hear. I have referred many patients to him over the years and he cares for my parents as well. His patients' well being is ALWAYS his priority. As a patient I really appreciate how he takes the time to really listen to my concerns and offer an explanation and treatment options I can understand. His staff is also very helpful and I can always get him on the phone when needed. more

My husband first started seeing him about 10 yrs ago. Back then, Dr. Saad was informative, pleasant and well-connected to other doctors that my husband needs to sustain his health. My husband sought out other doctors, but Dr Saad seems to be the best in the business. My husband and Dr Saad has had some serious communication issues. To be frank, Dr. Saad doesn't listen to his patients. Yes, I am re-writing this review, I think my previous review was a bit harsh, but at the time my husband and I were quite upset at Dr Saad's lack of communication. As a result, my husband has now more doctors added to his ""roster of doctors"", but will keep Dr Saad in said roster because of this doctor's experience. more

Dr. Saad is not the great doctor he portends to be. I had one appointment with him. He did not totally explain the test he had ordered for me, so was not able to have the test done. I was told nothing about the test, accept that is was a CT scan. I have never in my life had a CT scan that requires barium and an iodine IV. Since, I am scared of IV needles, I did not proceed with the test. The first time I scheduled for the test, I was not able to stay for the appointment, because I viral infection. So I rescheduled. It was when I was halfway through the third bottle of barium that I was informed there was an IV involved. I suffer from many medical issues, as well as, disabilities. Dr. Saad was aware of my medical history at the first and only appointment I had with him. I do not do very well with stress at times. So Dr. Saad told me to go find a gastroeneterologist elsewhere. However, I am tired of having to search for a gastroenterologist. It is the one speciality that I need and I have never been able to find one that will be willing to be my gastrenterologist for the long haul. So for the reasons stated here, I would not recommend Dr. Saad to anyone. more

I have never taken the time to comment on anything online, but I had to put in a review for Dr.Saad. I suffer from Crohn's disease and have had surgery due to a perforated bowel. Prior to my surgery and diagnosis I spent a year in pain with doctors who couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. I was give 2 referrals from 2 completely different people (my general practioner and a friend) who both swore by their referrals. It turned out that their referrals were the same doctor. Dr.Carlos Saad. Since I have been his patient now for 2 years I understand why they were both so ademant that I see him. Dr.Saad is the best there is. He cares deeply for his patients and is always available to them. He is EXTREMELY thorough in his diagnosis and care. As his patient I feel safe and secure which is very important with a condiion like mine. Pros: Knowledgable,professional and caring physician. Cons: None. more

Dr. Saad is an extremely meticulous and caring Doctor. He has taken care of me for almost 10 years now and he has always been very professional and extremely caring. I wish there were more doctors like him in this world. I would never hesitate to recommend him to anyone who would need a GI specialist. Pros: All thumbs up more

I was treated by Dr. Saad for a serious liver disease. He is knowledgeable, contempory with current research, and an excellent communicator. Dr. Saad is compasionate and respectful. His outstanding bedside manner is only surpassed by his clinical acumen.\r \r I would recommend Dr. Saad to anyone in need of a GI doctor not matter how simple or complex their presenting need or disorder. more

I was referred to Dr Saad for colonscopy and this is a real doctor, one who cares about his patients and takes time with them. He's very well thought of at Western Med, where the procedure was done. I thought his procedure, on the table, info given after recovery and at followup call and appt were excellent. He also advocated strongly to get me a ride to and from the hospital. I've been recommending him ever since. Pros: Everything was good! more
