An interesting history on printing 8/12/2005

The SUNY Printing Museum is a very small museum that follows the evolution of printing. From the ancient Chinese origins, to moveable type, to today's newspapers, everything is covered in this museum. There are models that have been recreated from olden times to give us an in depth look at how printing has evolved. This museum is fun for the whole family; even the kids will enjoy it! more

kind of interesting. 7/30/2005

This is a small museum that will teach you about the origins and the evolution of printing, a very important invention in history. Since it is so small it is not considered an activity for the day but since it is located on route 110 there are several other activities to do for the rest of the day. Children may not appreciate it because to them it is, well, boring, but any history buff will probably be interested in learning about how printing has changed over the years and in turn changed the ways of the entire world and how we do things. more
