I purchased a $480 vacuum from Sunshine Pools. After 7 months the wheel sheared off in the pool. March, 2012 - no one was swimming so it was in the pool alone. Took it back to Sunshine, vacuum was still under warrenty. I was ACCUSED of damaging it. I called 4 times with NO return call. I got an invoice in the mail for ""labor""......picked up vacuum and brought it home - still didn't work. Called Sunshine back - talked to Tony, owner, stated they DID NOT test it to verified it worked. Said I should have asked and brought the hose for testing..... WHAT????? Are you kidding me????? I have to ASK if it was fixed and just KNOW to bring the hose in for testing.... Seriously???? I called Zodiac, the manufactor, Zodiac rep Kyle stated the vacumm had been redesigned due to this issue; of the wheel shearing off so they'd send out a new vacuum. SUNSHINE - YOU DO NOT HAVE A CLUE ABOUT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Drive a little further DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.... They can sell it but you can forget about service after the sale... Totally ripped off for ""labor"" fees when vacuum was NOT fixed!!!! BEWARE!!!!
