The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program based on the disease risks of your pet; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages. Dental Care Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use modern and safe ultrasound to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. Dental technicians polish teeth to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup. Fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity. At home dental care is critical to maintaining good dental health. We have a variety of home products that can easily fit into your pet's daily routine. Surgery We offer the most advanced surgical techniques and technology. All patients are carefully screened for safety, and anesthetics are specifically tailored to your pet. Our experienced and fully trained veterinary and technical staff, ensure the safest, most efficient, state-of-the-art procedures for your pet; Pre-anesthetic blood testing, heated surgery tables for greater comfort; advanced sterilization techniques; E.C.G. and oxygen saturation monitors; and intensive monitoring after surgery to ensure recovery. Radiology Radiographs – or X-rays – help our veterinarians evaluate musculo-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems. Our radiographs include evaluation by a board certified specialist. In-House Laboratory Our In-House laboratory allows our doctors to get the results they need, when the results are needed. Our laboratory includes fecal analysis, urine analysis, heartworm testing, feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus testing, parvovirus testing, complete blood count, electrolytes, and blood chemistry profile. Emergency and Critical Care In any emergency, seconds count. Our experienced staff is trained and equipped to triage emergencies and administer the A.B.C.s of basic life support – Airway, Breathing, Circulation/Cardiac compressions. Emergency care is offered during regular business hours. After hours, we use the services of a local, fully staffed emergency center, Medvet. Behavioral Medicine Illness doesn't always have a physical cause. Evaluating a pet's behavior can give us insight into such disorders as separation anxiety, obsessive behavior and inappropriate elimination, and then develop a treatment regimen for the patient. Microchipping Microchips have helped reunite thousands of pets with their families. We offer the most widely used microchip products to increase the chances of a safe recovery. Nutritional Counseling Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet. Our trained staff is available to help you choose the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active.
