Just like with garage sales, auctions, etc. these flea markets are for the treasure hunter. Don't take your kids, it would be way too frustrating trying to keep little ones away ...

Just like with garage sales, auctions, etc. these flea markets are for the treasure hunter. Don't take your kids, it would be way too frustrating trying to keep little ones away from everything. Be prepared to possibly be around some smoke, to have little help if you're looking for something in particular, and to look at a lot of stuff you don't want before finding something you do. Prices vary. Sometimes you luck out and find a great buy, other times you don't. more

Junk and stuff 12/29/2005

If you like garage sales and other peoples junk, then you will like STD flea market. The booths are mostly junky, and filled with new, old, used, vintage or antique items. This is a great place to find some little tikes items for your kids, home decor items, or small collectibles. Some booths are overpriced, some are underpriced. If you like sifting through the junk to find a bargain, then this is the place for you! The staff is not overly friendly, and it is usually smoky and too hot or too cold. Just like a garage sale! more

Hot? or not... 8/18/2005

We have 3 in town – and they are pretty much all the same. No air conditioning so summer bargain hunting is miserable. The isles are so small, taking kids is next to impossible without having a cartful of unwanted items. People are aloud to smoke in there which is a HUGE turn off. You can find some deals but most is over-priced to make up for the booth rent. more
