I bought a Kidz n'Cats doll from Madame's Dollhouse. It arrived promptly and well packaged. The product is excellent as well. This vendor emailed to check that everything was okay. I appreciated that. Customer service is lacking today and this vendor is good to deal with. I also called before I ordered and was dealt with courteously and patiently. more

Difficulty in ordering multiple items 4/4/2013

I use IE7 as my browser, should be the most common. However, in the last year, I attempt to place more than one item at a time in my basket, the website does not hold the previous items. This is very frustrating and sometimes I have to try to place my order several times on different days to actually get the items ordered. The only reason I haven't gone elsewhere on the internet is because I've been a Golden Oaks customer for several years and I like the selection of Breyer Horses they offer. more

Ordering process was fine. Locomotive arrived as promised; no damage. 4/3/2013

I don't know if you forward reviews to Lionel, but I will share this with you. The 1958 New Haven "F3" was clearly not representative of any locomotive on the NH roster. The paint scheme was taken from an experimental train which never got into regular service. This Lionel model I ordered apparently was meant to more closely resemble the FL9 locomotive widely used in the last decades of the NH RR. Unfortunately, on close inspection, the paint scheme is closer to that of the EP5 electric locomotive of that same era. The paint job is technically good. The only complaint about the paint application is that the red band along the top of the sides apppears dark because it is applied over a black surface. Probably too thin an application. I enjoy all things New Haven, and this unit is a nice addition, but with the above reservations. more
