Friendly atmosphere, large selection 11/8/2007

I own this store and believe my staff is among the most helpful and friendly you'll find working specialty retail in Seaport Village and San Diego. In 2005, when other reviews were written, I had two employees that simply were not happy people. They are long gone and the atmosphere is as warm and friendly as ever. Please come and visit us soon, and if you disagree, please let me know. Many customers say Silver Crossing is their favorite store to shop for silver jewelry and inspirational gifts for their friends and family. I hope you will feel the same. Seaport Village is a great place to shop during the holidays if you wish to avoid over-crowded malls! Pros: Friendly service, competitive prices, unique selection more

What a fun shop 11/6/2005

Unlike the other reviewers, I found the staff to be quite nice. I always like looking for gifts in this store, I usually shop for items aside from just jewlery. They have a great and diverse selection of that but they also have unique gifts for the home that I really love. I would recommend it to anyone. more

Large selection, decent prices 9/5/2005

Silver Crossing is a somewhat small jewelry store located in Seaport Village. It does, however, offer an incredible selection of silver. You can find a large variety of necklaces, bracelets, anklets, earrings, rings, and other jewelry made from silver. Some of the jewelry also has various stones set in the silver. The prices are decent, especially for being in such a touristy place of town. Check it out if you are into silver jewelry! more

Silver Crossing has a great selection of beautiful jewlery and other goodies, ranging from really cheap to fairly expensive. The quality is quite good, even for some of the less expensive items. more

Beautiful jewelery, unpleasant staff 7/17/2005

On of several jewelery shops in Sea Port Village, Silver Crossing specializes in silver pieces of all types, especially unique or unusual items. The artistry is superb and the prices are reasonable. My biggest complaint is that some of the staff can be a bit rude and abrupt. Others are a a little pushy on the sale. Maybe they spend too much time around tourists, but this aspect makes the shopping experience, for me at least, less than ideal. more

  • SILVER CROSSING is the creation of Cindy McAdams, a native San Diegan.  Cindy's sixteen years at her parents' store, Trails West Silver & Leather,  provided her a wealth of retail knowledge and experience.  Buying beautiful jewelry and gifts is a very detail-oriented process she learned from her mother, Betty.  Trails West's thirty year journey ended in 2010, but Silver Crossing continues to thrive and celebrated its thirteenth anniversary in Seaport Village last December.

    A second location opens in February 2014 in Old Town San Diego Historical State Park. This store will also have a beautiful collection of jewelry and inspirational gifts and it's almost double in size!  When visiting Old Town, enjoy Mexican food and ice cream after shopping at the new, larger space.  We look forward to seeing you soon!
