S & M Alterations & Tailoring

I have been taking my alterations to S&M for the past 5 years. They were recommended by a family member (who is very particular) and they have been GREAT! Pleasant to deal with, affordable pricing and fast delivery on the items I have brought in for alterations. With some of the reviews I have read, I wanted to post my experience as the people at S&M have been very customer oriented, have provided me with great service, and have been a pleasure to deal with! What else could you want? more

I brought 3 skirts and 1 dress to be altered. The charge was $70. The alterations were completed in one week. I was completely satisfied with the work. I would definitely go back in the future. After some of the reviews I read, I was somewhat skeptical, but my experience was good. more

After reading the reviews I was skeptical to take anything here. I was desperate to get some jeans hemmed and thought it was a relatively safe way to test them out. They were fast, relatively inexpensive and very nice. The jeans were hemmed just fine, with the correct length and matching stitch color. more

Owner made me feel irresponsible for needing to have the dress altered and refused to return the dress any earlier than the day I needed it. more

I had a friend recommend coming here for my bridesmaid dress alterations and now I know why. They are reasonably priced and the dress fit perfectly! more

I came to S&M with a bridesmaid dress that was two sizes too big. The whole time the lady was making the adjustments she kept asking me why I didn't get a smaller dress (I ordered the size the boutique told me to order). When I went to pick up the dress I tried it on and it was too small. The woman could not even zip it up. Instead of apologizing and admitting the mistake she told me that I had gained weight and she just sewed the lines she made. I told her she had to take some out. I came back the next day to pick up the dress. It did fit better, still did not look right and again she tried to tell me I had gained weight in the week that it took her to take the dress in. I was livid and I paid $70 when I dropped the dress off the first time so I didn't get any sort of discount or refund!! It was awful and I will never go back. They cannot be trusted with important garmets!! Cons: hours not conducive with the working world and customer service was horrific!! more
