Great Thai for not a lot of $$$ 1/12/2008

Who would have thought that such a great Thai place existed in Fairfield, CA??? Working in SF I figured it was the only place to go short of making an over-seas trip. S & L Thai is the only place with my favorite...Peanut Curry and Citrus Chicken!!! Lightly battered chicken with a sweet citrus sauce and strips of nori....it's the best! The batter isn't too greasy and it doesn't overpower the flavor of the sauce or the tenderness of the chicken. Truly a treat for all the senses! more

Requires LOTS of time and patients 6/10/2007

The restaurant was full of locals, so it seemed to be a good place to eat. Waiting to be seated was a bit of a challenge as there was not a hostess. The cook (or what appeared to be a cook) directed us to our table. Once was sat on the sticky table, we waited for a menu for about 10 minutes. Ten minutes later we got our water, utensils and our beverage order was taken. Pros: Adventurous menu Cons: Disorganized/Too long of a wait more
