I went to Ruth's Chris last weekend with 3 other people. It was my first time there. I had the Osso Buco Ravioli as an appetizer. They were good though not as great as I expected. The highlight, not surprisingly, was my perfectly cooked (medium-rare) New York Strip. It was the best steak I've ever had. Another person in my group had the filet. He wasn't too happy with it, but filets generally don't have as much flavor. He tried his wife's strip and wished he had gotten that. The sides are standard, but excellently prepared. The mashed potatoes are rich and delicious. The mushrooms were a little so-so. The service was very professional and seamless. It is expensive, but worth it if you want a top-notch steak and to be served properly.
Pros: Food, service, atmosphere, outdoor dining
Cons: price
