I have wanted to eat at Ruth's for many years---I hear rave reviews all the time. It is just way too expensive for ""average folk."" Cons: $$$$$$$$$$$

Could be better 10/22/2002

The steaks have never been cooked as requested. We had to send the steaks back to be cooked further. We asked for medium and medium well and the steaks come back rare. We no longer frequent this restaurant. Pros: atmosphere, free parking, location Cons: poor steaks, rude staff, crowded more

Two for two 8/29/2002

I had such a great experience at the Sunset Station location, I had to try this one. Once again, my lunch was excellent all the way around. I treated a client and it looks like I'll land the business. I may have to start giving you guys a commission! Thanks again for the excellent steak and the attentive service. more

order rare 8/27/2002

If i wanted to cook my own steak i would go to u-r cooks. i wanted my steak med-rare and is was like that for about a min or two before the too hot of plates cooked it up to a med well and by time i was done to a well done steak. should of gone to Mortons for the same amount of money more

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse has the most awesome steaks. I've been to their restaurants in San Antonio and St. Louis and both are incredible. They must pamper those cattle from the day they're born. Pros: Ambience, Quality, Wait Staff Cons: Price more

I've had steaks at alot of different restaurants including Gallagher's, Morton's, Saltgrass, Texas Land and Cattle and several other. Some come close to the grand taste of a Ruth Chris' steak, but no cigar. excellent in all aspects. more

Ruth's Criss has the best steaks I've ever tasted. To add to a wonderful dining experience, I have to mention the service. I have, without exception, had the best service imaginable at this restaurant. The staff does not linger over you, but they never leave you waiting or wanting. Diners are all treated like royalty! Fine wine list - staff is very knowledgeable and make great wine recommendations. This is my ""special"" place - almost all special events require a trip to Ruth's Criss. Pros: Best steaks, Best service, Fabulous wine list Cons: pricey, but worth it! more

The Best Texas Cow 7/23/2002

Moo-lious. The streaks are sizzling and will melt in your mouth. The draw back is all the sides are a la carte. But who cares when all you really want is the steak. The ambience is very masculine but eating a steak isn't every very girlie. The service is top notch. This will be a pricy meal but if you can afford to give your tastebuds a gift - this is the place to go. Most franchise restaurants have a ""cookie cutter"" feel to them no matter which city the restaurant is located in. The Sunset Station Ruth's Chris has a personality all to its own. It's like no other that I've been to and makes the diner feel very genuinely special, like a close friend or family member. The service isn't forced and superficial. First Class and Consistently Great 7/8/2002

Consistent. Great food, great service, Every time! When I'm in town I visit Ruth's Chris at Concord and it's consistently exquisite. They also provide transportation to and from the hotel. Ruth's Chris offers a variety, not only the best steaks in town, but great seafood entrees and an amazingly extensive wine list. Perfect for a quiet meal alone or with someone.
