I was very hesitant to spend $35 to $45 for a piece of beef as I can cook it myself, but I have to say that the beef at Ruth's Chris's Steak House is worth every penny.

Amazing!! My boyfriend and I went for his moms birthday a while back and absolutely loved it so we decided to go for my birthday this year and Im soooo glad we did!! They had the table set up so nice, the waiter was so on point, there any time we needed him. The steaks were GREAT and the lobster bisque was just right! I would absolutely recommend it to another person!! more

Well worth the price. Was initially turned off as this is a ""chain"" but the steak was better than a lot of the independent steak houses in the area. Highly recommend. more

Been here a few times and love it. The food is of exceptional freshness and quality and the service is nearly faultless. The staff is extremely knowledgable and very approachable. The waiters we've had have been very helpful with suggestions and accomadating to my picky requests. I love that you can add things to your entree (like crab legs or lobster tails). Managers are present in the dining room every time we've been, which is rare even in restaurants of the same quality. This place is truly worthy of 5 stars. Some of my favorite dishes are the calamari, the bone-in ribeye, creamed spinach, and the apple tart. But everything I've ever tried has been wonderful with the exception of the crawfish appetizer (not my thing). I highly recommend Ruth's Chris. Pros: Excellent service, amazing food, great location (near highways), courteous staff Cons: Can't think of a thing.... more

Great Steak! 12/16/2006

If you want quality food and service, this is it! The steak literally melts in your mouth...try a filet mignon, or better yet, a porterhouse. Waitstaff is attentive, quality in unsurpassed...a great place to bring Mom for her birthday, or to impress a date!Expensive, but you get what you pay for! more

A Fantastic Experience !! 11/2/2005

If you're searching for a 5 star dining experience where you will be catered to from the moment you walk in the door...this is the place. The food is phenominal...melt in your mouth filets and desserts that you'll crave days later. The waitstaff literally waits for you to stand so they can assist you at any moment...but never hover. I'm not even a big meat eater....but I loved this place and would go back in a minute !! Very pricey, but well worth it if you want to reward yourself with a great meal ! Make reservations or you probably won't get a table. PROS: Fantastic Food, Very Professional and Courteous Waitstaff, Great Atmosphere CONS: Very Pricey, A line to get in the door...but it goes by VERY quickly. more

I am a picky eater and a critic of service. I have dined at Ruths Chris several times and have never been dissappointed! The food is top notch and so is the service. Staff is very friendly and polite. I order more than I can eat because the food is so good I don't want to miss anything! If I want a memorable experience I go to Ruths. They know how to take care of their guests. I highly recommend this dining experience. Leave room for dessert!!!! Pros: friendly service, quality food, worth every cent Cons: none, none, none more

False Prophet's 11/29/2004

Ruth's Chris is an elegant, ambient, comfortable restaurant. However, as far as best steak, not really. Don't get me wrong the steak was delicious, but i have had comprable, and better. Side dishes were wide in variety, and very tasty. Appetizers are outstanding. The atmosphere is excellent. The service unbeatable. wine selection is great. Excellent suggestion to win over a date. But bring your visa card, and maybe even a loan specialist because the prices are obscene, and i'm not sure they take american express. I will definately be going back soon. Impressive 3/7/2004

The filet I ordered was pretty high quality, but I was mostly impressed with the service. Not only was our waiter fabulous and on top of his job, but there were several other people who were around to make sure that our meal went very smoothly and that we were satisfied, without being annoying in any way. The waitstaff was able to unobtrusively guide us from course to course, leading to an incredibly satisfying meal. I would recommend going to this restaurant. Unquestionably the best in Conn. I've tried Morton's (snooty), Michael Jordon's (over rated) and a bunch of others. Don't waste your money anywhere else. Ruth's does it every time! more

Not even in Steakland(Texas) 2/4/2003

This is the second time I have rated Ruth's Chris. I am the one who spilled the water because of the golf pro. Fuzzy. I saw him there again but didn't spill a thing. (Linda moved it). I failed to mention the last time, that since we have been eating at Ruth's Chris (maybe 13 years or so) we have NEVER NEVER eaten steak at any other restaurant. Not even in steakland(Texas).
