Best

Best steaks I've ever eaten. Worth the price. I've been to one in San Fran, Hawaii, Phoenix and all of them were good. Everything is ala cart so it can be expensive but it's wo...

Worst

Way over rated for the price. The food is great, but not great enough to justify thier prices.

over-rated 2/2/2003

I think the food is exceptional, though definitely not the best around. The service is great, but the ambience is not fantastic. Prime quality beef is a much abused grade, as I think it is slightly here. more

Good but not Great 1/23/2003

Settle down folks. Ruth's Chris the most advertised but no the best steak in town. All of you who voted it the best are obvious sheep that follow what other people say. Sorry but that is the truth. more

Always Exceptional 1/19/2003

Each time we've gone to Ruth's Chris it has been an exceptional experience. The food, atmosphere and service far exceed the standard dining experience. more

best 1/12/2003

very nice place with excellent food and service-parking is also convient more

Best taste in steak 1/12/2003

There are good steaks and there are great steaks, at Ruth's Chris, every steak is great. The steaks taste great, are tender and are served the way a steak should be served. The salads and sides are also by far the best selection to go with the main course of any steakhouse I've ever seen. more

Best in the World! 1/12/2003

I ate at Ruth's Chris last night, and I loved every bite of it. I have eaten there many times before and I do believe that there isn't a better place to eat out on a date or business meeting or for a family dinner. I have been to many top notch steak houses around the U.S. and there isn't one that compares to Ruth's Chris. The steak is absolutely fantastic and the potatoes are scrumptious and filling. Ruth's Chris is the very best you can get and you should expect to pay a little extra for the best. We were very well taken care of and checked on by 3 or 4 people. Every one there was very sincere with everything they said and did. By far Ruth's Chris is the top on the list. 150% Pros: Great HOT Steak, Incredible Service, Wonderful Atmosphere Cons: None more

Undeserved 1/9/2003

I have only been to Ruth's Chris once - and once was enough for me. I thought the portions were stingy - you had to pay for each morsel separately - and the prices were high. I will not return. more

Outstanding 1/2/2003

My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary by dining at Ruth's Chris Steak House on Scottsdale Rd last week. It was fabulous! Service, food, ambience. Everything was wonderful! Cons: Difficult to find, main entrance more

worth every penny 1/2/2003

Of course, superb food--attentive, but unobtrusive service. Decor uninspired. Worth the price. more

bad bad bad 1/2/2003

After being told for years that this was the ultimate steak, I was very dissappointed in the quality of the food and the pricing was unreasonable. A dinner for four for over $500.00. I have had much better steaks at the outback steakhouse for less than $110.00. both cases included one drink, wine and dessert. This was a total ripoff. the atmosphere was crowded and noisy. Cons: price, quality, noise more

Sizzler with a high price tag 1/2/2003

This place is a joke. If I am paying $50 for a piece of beef it had damn well better come with a potato. The steak was over-cooked, the service was snotty and absolutely nothing for children to eat. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! more

Price is wrong 12/18/2002

I expected much more for the money. Service is good but ambience was like a strip shopping center. Food was very good, but please stop, it is not the greatest thing in the world. Veggies need help very under cooked... Pros: Good Steak, Not Crowded, Quiet Cons: Overpriced, Parking bad, Ambience not there more

Succulent 12/18/2002

Absolutely incredible! The steak actually melts in your mouth. Beautiful ambience, but the cost is STEEP! more

Ruth's Chris Rip 12/16/2002

Prime beef melts in your mouth! So do White Castle burgers! At $25 & up per Entree (al a carte) this jip joint should at least include a dinner show. I found it to be the most boring place in town at nearly the highest cost per person. Next time, I will go to Disneyland, it is cheaper and a lot more fun. Pros: Quiet, Service Cons: No poor man's night, boring, expensive more

ultimate steak 11/8/2002

There is none better than ruths. Mortons, flemings, etc. not even close. The steaks melt in your mouth, you can eat EVERY bite, and the quality is ALWAYS on. I have eaten here many times and never once had a single problem. Pros: excellent service, EXCELLENT steaks Cons: kinda pricey more

The supreme bovine experience! 10/24/2002

A "steak" worthy of the most discriminating vampire! Ha ha, sorry I'm too wrapped up in the Halloween season! This restaurant is the absolute best place on this earth for a tempting, savory and delectible offering from our faithful bovine! The decor is elegant yet inviting. The personnel is friendly and sincere. And the ambiance is both formal and relaxing! A series of hard to mesh ingredients that culminate in the supreme dining atmosephere! If you haven't, you should!!! Pros: Quality!, Service!, Valet! Cons: Pricy, reservations a must more

Steak 10/20/2002

The food is good, but the price makes it too expensinve to dine there often. Pros: Good Food Cons: Not easy to find, Expensive more

second to one 10/6/2002

Ruth's Chris although quite good is not the best Steakhouse in the Phoenix area. The Grill Restaurant at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is by far the best Steakhouse not only in Phoenix area but in all of Arizona. They are the only restaurant with USDA Prime Dry-Aged beef. Each meal comes with sides included. These sides are not just steamed veggies and bland potatoes, they include such goodies as lobster truffle mashers or mascarpone spinach. I would rate Ruth's Chris second to the Grill. I don't know why they top their steaks with butter when USDA Prime steaks are great with out the added fat of butter. Pros: great food Cons: alacarte sides more

melt in your mouth 9/2/2002

Considering the fact that an animal had to give up it's life in order for me to enjoy this meal I consider the meal a thing to be much appreciated. When you order from Ruth's Chris you know that you are indeed going to enjoy the entire evening of dining. Exceptional quality and attention to detail make this dining experience one to remember. more

Yummy 8/13/2002

I can hear the food coming a mile away...the steak was sizzling right in front of me...it is romatic and quiet. The food was so good! Pros: nice people, food good, clean Cons: expensive, not many locations more
