This is the one of the famous 5-star restaurants just off of HWY 31 between Mountain Brook and Homewood. It's actually just inside the lobby of the chic Embassy Suites hotel. The ambience is beautiful, with elegant tables and dense foliage all around the restaurant, giving you a intimate atmosphere to enjoy your meal. They offer fine wines, gourmet meats (steaks, chicken, etc), and a great variety of vegetables. The service is always friendly and helpful. The prices are on the expensive side, which makes this a special occasion restaurant in my book.
