Up until yesterday I absolutely hated buying a vehicle. However, after having the profound pleasure of working with Elbony at Rusty Wallis, I can truly say I dont hate it any more. I had a great experience at Rusty Wallis Honda. Nikki Luther emailed me with internet pricing on the two vehicles I was interested in. I arrived to test drive and she had both vehicles out front waiting to be driven. She thoroughly introduced both car styles and continually reassured me that my having a great experience at Rusty Wallis was her goal. She provided clear and accurate direction during negotiations and Rusty Wallis gave me top dollar for my trade in. I cannot be more pleased. I love my Honda Accord EX-L with Navigation system and am thrilled to drive it every day since I bought it two months ago. I have referred many friends to Rusty Wallis since my experience was so positive. No bait and switch and just really great people from the receptionist to the sales staff to the finance guy. When purchasing a new car if you have the time you will shop around to get the best deal. You will take an offer from one dealership and give it to another to see if they can match or do better. That is a common practice. My husband and I called around quite a few dealerships in Texas to try and get the best deal for a new 2010 Honda Pilot. We were also looking for the best trade-in offer for our current vehicle. We had a few offers from some places and just wanted to see if Rusty Wallis could match it or give us a better offer. The first few initial emails I received from Terry Godoy at Rusty Wallis were not very informative. He was very short with me which I thought was odd. My husband spoke with Terry and when my husband told him about an offer we received from another dealership he (Terry) told us we were being lied to and that that dealership would never give us that price we wanted. Terry proceeded to call my husband and leave very rude voice mail messages. I don't understand why someone would act that way if they really wanted to sell a car. Obviously we will NOT be purchasing our new Pilot from Rusty Wallis nor will we EVER purchase a vehicle from them!! I purchased a 2009 Certified Pre-Owned Honda Civic Hybrid from Rusty Wallis Honda on 3/14/2009. I was buying from out-of-state, so I relied on my sales manager over the phone for all of my information. As I'd be making a rather long trip to pick up the car, I wanted to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. One of my biggest concerns was that I did NOT want a car that had ever been wrecked or had any damage to it what-so-ever. I was assured up and down by my sales manager that the car had never been wrecked and was in perfect shape. They even provided a CarFAX report showing that the car had never been wrecked. I flew down, picked the car up, and was quite happy with it... for a short while. Pros: Finance dept. works hard for your business Cons: Complete and utter dishonesty of their sales department. more
