Finally! A restaurant in the Clearwater area that has good food and service. My mother (who has lived in Clearwater for over 20 years) and I visited recently and were both extremely happy. Although the location is adjacent to a fish store and surrounded by fishing vessels the restaurant looked and smelled clean. The service was prompt, cheerful and attentive. Best of all - the food was outstanding. Mom says the best grouper she has had in a very long time. Complimentary hush puppies come to the table when you are seated - yummy! Not the hard doughballs you may be used to but slightly sweet and piping hot. Inventive salad dressing such as mango chardonay. Interesting sides such as corn casserole - kind of like a bread pudding prepared with creamed corn and cornbread. And the fish - out of this world in both freshness and preparation. Even this New Englander loved the supple scallops and briney shrimp. Excellent value. Ample quantities. Casual atmosphere. Great location.
Pros: great fresh seafood and casual fun atmosphere
Cons: small parking area.
