DO NOT use Russ Adams for any work, no matter which company name he uses; I have had 2 Subcontractors threaten leans on my house due to him not paying them. His work was Extremely slow, Horribly shoddy. more

Do not use this lying ,cheat of a company. They don't pay their employees. We have been chasing down less than 500 for a week now. Very dishonest, we put in a week of honest hard work and we can't get what is due to us. I am letting everyone I know in the construction field know what a creep this guy is and how he hides behind his skank of a secretary Mary Beth. This isn't the last they will hear from me! A lawyer and gephardt are next!!! more

Awesome service! I had Russ's Concrete pour concrete and build me a deck. My family and I couldn't be more pleased. The whole thing is beautiful. I didn't realize the things that you can do to concrete to make it unique for your own taste. Russ was very professional but friendly at the same time. He explained everything as we went. There were a couple of delays in getting the products I wanted, But the wait was certainly worth it. I will recommend Russ's Concrete to anyone and everyone. Thanks again Russ! more

I know Russ Adams personally. He is a man of honesty and integrity. A few of the reviews below are written by an employee who couldn't perform his job adequately and was let go. Russ is a member of the Layton community and is a VOLUNTEER police officer 3 days a week, accepting no money for all his time and effort. He also is a major part of the Safe kids program bringing it into the schools. He is not a man whovwould rip anyone off, do ""shoddy"" work, or not pay his employees. Russ Adams is amazing and I wouldn't hesitate to have him do any work for me at all! more

Look out for this guy, his work is bad, concrete patio is not level and the driveway sunk causing it to be replaced. The walk up to house was replaced as well because it was a trip hazard next to driveway. Had to hire someone else to fix. more

Our company worked with Russ on several projects before we saw the light. He lies and cheats and does dishonest estimates and then doubles the bill. We had to tear out large parts of the concrete he poured on several projects because it was done wrong. I think he is only still in business because he is buddies with government officials. I just want whats mine, i worked 85 hours for that prick and havn't seen anymoney whatsoever. Hes a lying douche that takes advantage of people to better himself. No matter who he steps on. I was very pleased to find out that his contractor liscense was on probation due to liens and not paying bills. Further contact with Department of Professional Liscensing to and having his terminated would really bring a smile to my face.. Id like to get paid and im going to be a thorn in his side until then. You know you owe us money for building that barn for you.. I think ill go put a lien on the barn to, im sure another lien on your record probably would be the straw that broke the camels back so to speak for your pathetic construction company. Im sorry to tell you but russ does not pay his emplyes or bill i worked for him and did not get paid along with 5 other we built a house in morgan and he did not pay bills there and the home owner is out 30000 for pump trucks and concrete trucks and other things stay away from him his work is good when he does it yes wait for a few months and it will fall apart and you might end up with a lean on your house the others he is a lier and a cheat for the 7 months i work for his he told me he was a layton police he is not he told me he had canncer and was only givin a few months ya that was almost a year ago and he is still here just stay away from him someone like this does not need people to give him work Pros: Russ is a liar Cons: Russ don't pay employees more

Because of Russ's concrete a LIEN was put on our house. He doesn't pay his debts and then sticks the home owners with them. Russ Did not pay the concrete pumping truck company who then put a lien on our house to collect their money they don't care who pays them as long as someone does. I am planning on filing with the state to prove we are not the debt holder but this is a VERY expensive VERY time consuming process and I am NOT happy. DON'T USE THEM! My experience with Russ's concrete was a mixed bag. \r \r The Good- When work begins, Russ's Concrete performs quickly and effectively. It may be too early to tell, but it seems that their work is fairly superior.\r \r The Bad- It appears that they have many commercial customers, and commercial customers seem to come first. We met with severe delays in every step of the process, from bid appointments, return of the bids, payment, and the work itself. None of these delays were necessary, and I was only contacted about a pending delay on one occasion. They don't answer their phone consistently; nor do they return messages. Prices for additional services seem very high.\r \r As I stated, Russ's Concrete performs great work---once it's finally performed. Also, I'd highly recommend getting any promises in writing. It's speculative at best to believe that any verbal agreements will be honored. more
