Russo's Grill

Ive always been a great fan of Russos since I was a little kid going there with my parents. Its had its ups and downs through the years and for a while it was probably only around because it's the area's most famous neighborhood bar. But in the last few years since being taken over by one Russo (instead of 20) it has really become a respectable establishment. The food is definitely the biggest change. I used to go to Russos for the people and happened to get a bite to eat while I was there. Now I go there for the food. And I keep going and going and going. It's Italian comfort food at its best. the eggplant parm sandwich is a personal favorite, but I know the veal parm is amazing if you like veal (I personally feel too guilty eating it but Ive tried a few bites off others plates and it was delicious). Anything with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese and you cant go wrong. Some other dishes can get too oily but theyre usually still good, the penne ala vodka comes to mind. I have been back at least 15 times since the reopening and havent been disappointed yet. if the new owners are reading this, keep up the good work!! more

Simple, old-fashioned neighborhood bar and grill. You can't go there expecting five stars, but you won't leave hungry or disappointed. Pros: price, food more

Was ignorer after told to take any table available. We took a booth and a young lady came over and placed silverware and placemat and told us that someone will be with us shortly. 8 minutes past and no one came over one of the waitresses walked by and said hi. I went to the lotto machine and placed a Kino bet and return to my booth passing by at lease 3 waitresses. 5 more minutes went by and still no one came over. When to the lotto machine and informed the barmaid that they don't need my money because we were ignored. There were two other couples that came in after us and got great service. The place was not that busy. This was our first time back since they re open. You could definite tell that the old Russo's hospitality was not present. In the pass did not matter how busy the place would be you got service like you were family. Pros: Small town restaurant Cons: Service Sucked more
