Elliot Schlissel is one of the most courteous, gentle, informed and caring Attorney in the State of New York. I wish I met him before I went to other lawyers for my case and wasted money and time on them! I found Elliot Schlissel's informative blog while searching for an Attorney in New York From the time that I first met with Elliot Schlissel to discuss case, he was been both professional, knowledgeable and understanding. My case took about 2 months to be dismissed and throughout the period, he did his utmost to give me the results I desired. He and his staff always kept me updated about my complicated case while in process. I could not be more happy and thankful for his exceptional caring services. more

Elliot S. Schlissel, is a highly accomplished lawyer in Lynbrook and surrounding areas. He is knowledgeable, experienced and extremely caring lawyer. He handled our Family Law case with passion and care. I would highly recommend him to anyone in hour of need. He even went beyond and advised me in my landlord issue. Professional, honest, and fair - I could not ask for more! I hired Law Offices of Elliot S. Schlissel to represent me in a custody issue I was having with my ex-wife who had made some very serious yet false accusations against me. When I went to Elliot I was uncomfortable as I had never been in a situation like this before. Elliot used his experience, fore sight and intelligence to show the court that my ex husband was being dishonest and not acting in the best interest of the child. Elliot was respectful through it all and always took the high road. He did his best to negotiate with my ex and her attorney and we were able to settle out of court due to his due diligence which ended up saving me a lot of money as going to trial is a very expensive process. Elliot Schlissel also used his knowledge gained through his years of experience as a family law attorney to properly set expectations for me by informing me how the family law court system works, etc. I was able to go into court with confidence knowing how things would most likely turn out. Elliot S. Schlissel understands how the system works and will do what it takes to get you through it all without breaking your bank along the way. Thank you Law Offices of Elliot S. Dealing with incessant threats, manipulations, and avoidance of responsibility of my sociopathic ex-husband was a constant occurrence. Mr. Schlissel was a calm and reassuring counsel that sincerely looks out of you and your children. He has the legal acumen and negotiating skills to ensure the long term legal and financial safety of you and your children. In depositions he makes cutting questions with quick piercing rebuttals. He returns phone calls in an expedient time frame and is always logical and empathetic in his response. Mr. Schlissel is one of the most ethical lawyers I have encountered and I highly recommend him. more

Hire the law firm of Elliot Schlissel?? Absolutely! My divorce was a long time coming, and as a father of 3, I was concerned about the entire process and very worried about my children. I wasn’t clear to my rights, and I had heard all the war stories. So, choosing my legal representation was a very careful process. After many conversations with possible law firms, I reached Elliot. Our initial conversation immediately separated him from the rest by his expertise on fathers’ rights. Along the entire process his professionalism under pressure, complete knowledge of divorce law, and the close attention and care he paid to every detail in court and out resulted in an equitable dissolution. Elliot is a pretty sharp broad based attorney. I had used him 30 years ago for some business issues that were resolved fairly with out litigation. Then when my dad got seriously ill about 12 years ago he helped my mother with some asset protection work before dad went into a nursing home. We were pleased with the level of service and knowledge so he also handled mom mothers estate planning and will. All worked out very well, and Mom liked him a lot. more
