I visited this car wash today and would like to offer a more up to date review. First off, the Gold car wash, which includes hand wash and interior cleaning is 20.99. I opted for the rim cleaning as well for an additional 4.99 (normally 6.00, but was cheaper with the gold wash.) The team was very efficient and seemed to do a good job.
When I got home, I found a couple of areas that I wasn't pleased with. First I noticed that they asked me what scent I'd like on the inside. I told them and they marked it on the windshield. However no scent was applied. When I opened the trunk, it's still full of needles from when I picked up my Christmas tree. (Yes, I waited a month after that to have the car cleaned.) The interior of the car was vacuumed, but the hatch portion was not. This was a large part of the reason I wanted the car cleaned in the first place.
The rest of my complaints are probably pretty minor since I like my car to be perfect. There were some spots on the instrument console that would easily have come off with any kind of interior cleaner and a cloth. Also a couple of residual sticky soda spots on the center console that once again, would easily have come off with a cloth and cleaner.
My other complaint is as soon as I pulled up, some guy that I'm not terribly sure was associated with the place started trying to talk me into having a chip in my windshield filled. He wouldn't take no for an answer and swore up and down that my insurance company would pay for it and my rates wouldn't go up. Unfortunately I succumbed to his relentless assault. He gave me a sales slip, but he did not require me to pay. I'm going to follow-up with my insurance company on this and verify that this will not cause my rates to go up. I'm not terribly satisfied with the work. The chip is still obviously there, although I admit it's not as bad as it was.
With all this being said, I will not be visiting this car wash again. I'd heard good things about it in the past, and maybe I just had a bad experience. I would suggest though that you look the car over real well before tipping the "detailer."
Good luck and I hope your experience is better than mine!
