Runyons

Expensive, but the food is well worth it. The crab cake sandwich is the best I've ever had, and I'm from Maryland so that's saying something! I also love the tomato salad, but be aware that it is literally a big tomato with salad dressing! more

My husband and I have been frequenting Runyons since the 1980's and are still dining there. We can not say enough about every aspect of this home town restaurant. We have had many of special events there with family and friends, we also would like to thank the owner Jack for making our 25th wedding anniversary dinner party that we had in 2003, with all our family n friends, you made us feal like family, that is just the way the entire staff makes you feel there! Here is to another 25 years! more

Good happy hour spot! Love the food on the happy hour menu, and that they have some live entertainment on the piano. Sometimes when my husband and I have a date night we come here for the happy hour, has a bar that feels like cheers:) Also like to sit outside during happy hour when the weather cools off. Good place! more

Walk in and expect to be treated like a valued customer that will be spending $100 at this restraint? Not a chance! Owner and greeters are less than hospitable, food is marginal for any price, but VERY poor for the price they are charging. I have tried to get a decent meal there a number of times, expecting that it may have just been an 'off night' the last time I was there…. Well it is consistently poor, quality, portions and taste. You will be disappointed! more

I must admit Runyons is my favorite resteraunt in Coral Springs, however the food quality has been going down. Shrimps are much smaller than in the past, salads not as big nor as special, meals ok, however we expect more than ok. We hope that this resteraunt changes for the better more

The service needs improvent, the meal wasn't worth the price. I can't justify spending the money eating this food. more

Went for a drink at Runyons to wind down the day. Did the happy hour gig with my buddy and it was good. I had the onion soup which was awesome (see pic). It was a Bar Bite special for happy hour for a reasonable price of $4.95. It was covered in melted cheese, the way I love it and filled with the right amount of onions and broth. I then had a Lobster Salad Slider with fries which was also on the Bar Bite menu (see pic). It was $5.95 for the one slider and fries. It was freakin GREAT. Man, I love Lobster salad where you can see and taste the REAL lobster, good job to the kitchen. I plan on trying the other Bar Bites which are only available from 4 to 7. \r \r My server was Jeff and he was a class act. He allowed me to sample the two house Pinor Noir's before I purchased it and he was very friendly.\r \r This place is high class, but I felt very comfortable wearing shorts and a collared shirt ( not dressed up at all) relaxing at the bar. A guy was singing and playing the piano and it was just a good "old soul" vibe. I didn't have dinner but I will soon. \r \r Go for happy hour since I know we are all on budgets and live it up for a night, it wasn't that expensive. Runyons is a Coral Springs Classic. Fine dinning personified, in the form of an old world Steak House. All of there dishes are prepared, and served with extreme care and attention. From lobster tails to veal Marsala. You simply can not go wrong with any menu selection. Always a pleasure, do not miss out if you enjoy fine dinning! more

While the decor is a little outdated, you won't even notice it when the food arrives. Everything is cooked perfectly, and the piano player is great if you choose to eat in the lounge. more
