Running Pond Acres

Our dogs always come home happy and tired. As soon as we arrive on the property, they are anxious to begin their stay and can hardly contain themselves. They remember the staff and show it. We are at ease during their stay because of the quality of care and attention. Check in and check out is efficient. How can price be an issue? The $2 per hour for two dogs is great value for around the clock care. more

Even though Running Pond Acres is 20 miles from my house, when I go out of town and need to have my dogs boarded, this is where I go. Be advised that it is expensive--$31/day for the first dog, $19 for the second if they're sharing a "suite"--but it's worth the price. The dogs have a TON of room--no small cages here--and they're free to run all over the fenced yard. Someone is supervising the dogs at all times from 7 A.M.-9:30 P.M., and the owners live on-site, which is reassuring. There is a huge, in-ground swimming pool that they can swim in for an additional fee and lots of little plastic wading pools to cool off in. The owners are very well-informed and have tons of dog experience. I feel my pups are in great hands when I leave them here, and that peace of mind is worth the $50+ per day that I spend here. more
