I bought a couple of pairs of shoes at the run-in, on the advice of co-workers, about 18 months ago. Yes, the store wasn't clean and neat and the service was by no means warm or friendly- however, I walked out of the store with a couple of pairs of running shoes that worked out well. I figured it was better than going to Dick's.Last week I went to get another pair, and when I arrived at the store there was a Post-it note on the door saying they were closed until 11/7 (it was 11/5). I had been to there web site to check their hours before I left my house. There was no mention on the web site that they were going to be closed. I drove 20 minutes on my lunch hour to get there. I was not happy.I made a couple of calls and someone recomended I go to Fleet Feet in West Hartford. Not only were they knowledgeable, they were courteous and even smiled (didn't get one of those at the Run-in). I tried on 3 pairs of shoes, ran on all of them outside, never felt rushed and walked out with a pair of
