I was truly disappointed with the person that installed our carpet. Besides the carpet arriving nearly a week after delivery was promised (because of their admitted error) and the fact that they measured the carpet incorrectly, I had other problems that were much bigger. The installer kept asking me to help him with different things. That's not an issue really for me. I think the fact that he acted like he owned my home was the real issue. He DESTROYED my walls. I'm not referring to the rooms he installed carpet either. I'm referring to the fact that he wasn't even remotely careful bringing carpet into the house or bringing in his tools which he LITERALLY dragged across the wall. Yeah, I saved some money overall, but I now have to spackle and repaint three walls with paint I no longer own which means I have to paint the entire hallway and the room he carried the carpet through. It's not worth it. The paint cost alone will eliminate any savings I got. The actual installed carpet looks great. He did a good job with the install even though he complained the entire time that it wasn't easy to install and that he was having all kinds of difficulty. He also flat out asked me for a tip. Fat chance. Do a good job and I always take care of you, but I'm certainly not going to tip someone who was rude, disrespectful, damaging to my home, lazy, and an all around doucher. Rug Mart next time? NO!
