Rudy's Dry Cleaners

This place is AWFUL. The first time I went there I brought in a dress and a blanket to be washed; neither item seemed clean when I got it back and they ripped the lace badly on the dress. The second time I went there I needed a dress hemmed by a certain day. I must have checked with them three times that they could really have it done by that day, but sure enough, when I showed up at 5:00 they didn't have it done. They said that they couldn't work with the material, which I understand, but when I inquired as to why they didn't call me in the four days that it was sitting there so I could take it elsewhere, they responded that "they were too busy to actually call customers back". I have heard similar terrible reviews from many others who have come here. I will never ever be giving them my business again, and strongly advise others to do likewise. more

Laundry at it's most expensive. Get a dress shirt laundered for nearly $2 and dry cleaned for $5 (!!!). However, they have been good about not shrinking any of my clothes and have never lost anything. Their service is usually overnight, so that's pretty good too. The location on Maury is really convenient as well. more
