Very Good Pie 6/8/2005

This was my fourth stop on my Austin Pizza Odyssey. Excellent pie. I ordered it with extra cheese. My GOD did it have extra cheese! Very good quality mozzarella. Tasty, tangy sauce. And the toppings went all the way to the edge. I can't wait to try their grinders! Go for it! more

Rudino's is a welcome addition to Austin! 5/31/2005

I couldn't be happier to see an outstanding pizza and grinder restaurant open in Austin. I haven't had pizza this good since I moved here from Chicago! In addition to the wonderful food, there is also a nice size outdoor patio where you can enjoy a glass of wine with your meal. The staff is incredibly pleasant and so kid friendly that it is a favorite spot for my family on any occasion. I strongly encourage new patrons to try Rudino's, you won't be disappointed. Pros: family friendly, good wine selection, well priced more

You have to try both the red and white, since I have such a hard time decidiing the great folks at Rudino's made a 1/2 & 1/2. for me. Great service and fantastic food. more

Wonder Why 'They' Didn't Open 5/15/2005

It makes so much sense as to why Rudino's neighbor has not opened! There is no comparison -- these sandwiches are beyond scrumptious. With all the choices of toppings & combinations on top of their, may I say, melt in your mouth bread and cheese --- these grinders must be directly from the northeast! Northwest Austin and all of our families finally have a great place to hang out!! more

Finally a Real Pizza !! 5/15/2005

I have been in Ausin for just over a year and in that time have searched for a great pizza. Finally I have found that Great Pizza at Rudino's. The toppings are both fresh and plentiful. The crust firm and flaky. The perfect balance of toppings, sauce, seaonings and cheese. Austin can be proud that there is finally a place to get a Great Pizza served in a family friendly environment from a very helpful and friendly staff. 5 stars ***** Pros: Great Taste, Good Quality , Great Value Cons: Open til 10PM more

We Needed a Place Like This 5/6/2005

It has been such a long time coming, but 620 needed a restuarant like this -- hip, fun, relaxing and something everyone can enjoy in casual dining. The staff is extremely friendly and really takes the time to ensure your enjoyment of their food & atmosphere. Grinders....? 5/6/2005

Being a southern boy, I had no idea what a grinder was...unless it had to wheels for grinding down metal parts!! Then I stopped in at Rudino's and tried their Italian Grinder and I was sold!! Bye, bye Quinzo's, later Subway...you just can't compete!! Great bread, great meat and cheeses...add in fresh mushrooms and peppers, how can you go wrong!
