Great Menu, Great Concept, Wait staff - 'Horror Movie Scary' 8/29/2007

I've eaten at the Alderwood Mall/Lynnwood Ruby's countless times. The first few times I was very impressed by the whole experience and then came several visits when impressed wasn't the word that came to mind.\r \r Unfortunately, I've heard this is one of the best Ruby's around the Seattle area. The concept, being 50's retro is awesome, the food and menu are equally awesome. \r \r The wait staff is 'horror movie scary'. We've seen food delivered to empty tables, several conversations amongst the wait staff while food is getting cold. Dessert being pushed by the wait staff at breakfast. And then the usual; waitresses that don't listen, waitresses that ignore you, waitresses that forget your order, waitresses that forget your drinks, food that is cold, sandwiches that are dried out from being under a heat lamp.\r \r We will ocassionally go back in hopes that it's improved but we keep getting disappointed. If it wasn't at the mall it would be a gas station by now. Pros: food, menu, efficiency of the cooks Cons: wait staff more
