Went here because I like a good burger and there seemed to be a lot of happy faces inside. The atmosphere did cost a bit to establish, and it does a great job of bringing back those old childhood memories of a classic diner, but will the burger meet the test? I was shocked, for it did. It was cooked properly and was not greasy and best of all - it tasted just like the past. Did I mention the fries are endless? Didn't get that deal when I was a kid which makes this burger a super value. I got a double patty, they charge $3 extra which brought the total to $9.69. I noticed that the meat is formed into a patty on a grill. This is unusual, and I like a place that shows off its food preparation. Even though I like a flame broiled burger and one I can sink my teeth into, I am surprised into giving Ruby's a 10 for the overall experience.
Pros: burger, atmosphere, endless fries
