Ruby Tuesday

my experience was similar to the review with diner who took mom to eat at 4pm. My son, his girlfriend and I, waited about 10 minutes before anyone sat us to eat--the place was empty. The carpet was filty, food, napkins--even after we were directed to our table , no one cleaned the floor around us. The drinks had barely any ice, and yet, it took the waitress a long time to bring us our drinks. I ate from the salad bar--there were nats flying aroung the salad bar. The items were empty and food all over the place. The temperature of the salad was quite warm--the heating lamps are necessary, but in my opinion, they kept the salad extremely warm. My son's burger was ok. and so was the chicken and brocolli pasta--we did notice that the place was quite empty and most of the workers seemed unintetered in keeping the place clean and neat, all of them were on their cell phones or gossiping with each other in the diners areas, aren't there break room or other areas they can do this? I was very disappointed by the uncleanliness and lack of interest to keep the diners pleased in comfortable. I don't think I will return here unless there is a huge improvement. more

Here we go again looking for great food in the Homestead/Florida City Area. My lunch with my Mother at ruby Tuesdays. First off we ate a late lunch around 4 pm. We asked the hostess to sit us in a nice quite area, which should not have been a problem considering the place was empty. Our waiter was just horrible. We ordered two ice tea's with extra ice. He brought then with hardly any ice. next we placed our order. We had a nacho chips plate with some kind of cheese dip as an appetizer. the presentation was horrible. Then my Mother ordered one of their burgers, and boy it looked horrible nothing like that nice burger they show you on TV. I myself had a chicken/tomato fettuccine dish. It was ok, by it was not a fresh grilled chicken breast as stated in the menu, it was one of those in a bag chopped pieces of chicken it was more than likely all thrown together and microwaved. The waiter was nasty when my mother asked for some mustard, he told her it was already on the burger. She informed him she wanted it for her fires. Half way through the meal the hostess sat a couple right next to us, and forgot we wanted a nice quiet place to dine, and the whole place was empty. She was more concerned about getting back to the front and reading her novel. Don't waste your money on this place........ more
