I called to inquire about getting my daughter's hair done and the lady that does the hair was very unresponsive and rude. I mean how does someone that does hair sound like she do...

Prices are great! 12/18/2010

I've been a customer for 12 years. Rubina's is the place to go for threading and waxing. I go to her religiously every two weeks. She makes you feel very comfortable during a brazilian which can definitely be an awkward experience. more

Rubina is amazing!! 3/8/2010

Rubina is hands down the best. She's quick, professional, clean and very informative. when i got my first Brazilian she was was very comforting and it was over before i knew it. Not painful at all, just a lil sting for about a second. She even gave me a pair of balls (tennis) to squeeze. My eyebrows always look amazing because of her. Super affordable and great results. I recommend her to all my friends. more

Great Service for men too 1/22/2010

I use to drop my wife off and leave. One day my wife talked me into waxing my back and shoulders. I am not going to say it was painless, but Rubina keeps your mind off the wax by telling you stories (she is pretty funny) and it went by pretty quickly. I have been going to her for almost 3 years now and would not go anywhere else. more

I've been going to Rubina since 1996. She and her associates are very friendly. I started with just eyebrows and immediately grew into waxing almost my whole body (except my arms and face, which she also does if you're interested). I have also had her facials from time to time, which are great. The best part about the waxing is that over the years I have expereinced significantly less hair growth. Even when she moved, I followd her because of the combination of great service and prices and being able to get all your services done in one place. Highly Recommended!!! Beyond my expectations ! Love it ! 12/3/2009

Rubina and her Associate are GREAT, their work is impeccable. November 28th 2009 was my first time threading and my first visit to the salon, and I was definitely impressed. I will be coming back regularly. Pros: Great service, Not too crowded, Reasonable Prices. \r Cons: THERE ARE NO CONS! Best waxing and eyebrows for the best price 12/1/2009

I have been going to Rubina's for over 10 years and I would not go anywhere else. She is the best at waxing and threading. I have recently moved 1 1/2 hours away and I would rather make the drive than go anywhere else. Best prices best service. She will always try to fit you in if you walk in. Amazing Work 7/28/2009

I went to Rubinas a few days ago after reading some reviews. And was shocked to see it in the corner of a littl shopping center. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by smiles, and was told someone would be with me right away even though I didn't have an appt. I was in a chair within 5 min. And for my first time getting my eye brows done it was truly an amazing experience. Helena helped me and she did a really great job with my eye brows and completely re-shaped them. I loved every minute of it, and she was very precise in letting me know how it was going. It was truly a pleasure to have found this place and will definitely be back, and this time with an appt. Great brow threading 10/23/2008

I have been to a number of places for eyebrow waxing and found Rubina's on Citysearch and gave it a try. I've been going now for a number of months and am extremely happy with the way that Rubina has shaped my eyebrows. It's as if she's given them new life. They had been overplucked, overwaxed, in bad ""shape"" - you name it. I am very happy and satisfied with the results and to top it off, she is very reasonable! more

Rubina's Beauty Salon is a great place to have your eyebrows threaded -- Rubina's (owner) work is very precise and does exactly what you ask for. Best of all, the price is very reasonable. They are flexible and accomodating. It is much easier if you get an appointment so she has more time to perfect what you really need. She also does a terrific job in waxing (underarms, legs, bikini, brazilian) -- you name it, she can pretty much do it for you. You can also go there to get a haircut (adults - men/women and children) or hair coloring (even hena). It's a small gem in Harbor City. You guys should give it a try --- once you go, you're hooked forever. Pros: They work quickly and precisely. Friendly staff. Ample parking. Low cost. more

EXCEPTIONAL - quality service - YOU HAVE TO GO! 8/30/2007

You have to see Rubina - she is THE BEST! I was just there today and she remembered I was growing ""an extra line"" of hair on my eyebrows (which I forgot to mention to her).....and knew my waxing wasn't due until next visit; I felt SPECIAl (as she does a lot of eyebrows - trust me she does)....let me tell you I have been seeing her for over 10 years and would not go to ANYONE else..(only Seema who also works in her shop). I have been waxing for over 2 years now and LOVE IT!. This is the first time I write a review and I would only do it for her. She deserves the best. Price is not indicative of quality 9/25/2006

You know how these Bev. Hills salons charge an arm and a leg, well Rubina doesn't. Her work is top quality and her prices are oh-so-reasonable. She is great at waxing and makes you feel at home when you go to see her. Have her get your ready for your wedding - it will save you a ton of $$ and aggravation. more

What a great service 10/13/2005

I can't thank Rubina enough. I went to her after someone botched my eyebrows with wax. I didn't think she could do much with them...they looked bad! She used thread to reshape my eyebrows and did a fabulous job. I couldn't believe she was able to fix them. I go to her now for all my threading and even waxing. You should too.
