The Ruarks have done a great job of offering a quality service in Sunbury for a while now. I appreciate their ability to communicate any unexpected changes and always ask before working on anything additional. Sometimes if it's not critically important, they are upfront and honest about it and tell me it can wait. As a guy on a tight budget, I can appreciate that. I'm a satisfied customer. I have been giving them business for years and have never had an issue with my car. They found an issue that the other car shops could not figure out and didn't have any issues after that. They give me time lines on when to come back for them to check my car and also when sommething might need to be replaced. This saves me time and money. Quoted wrong price for service first. $150.00. After calling to schedule the appointment, I was informed the labor would be more like $350-400. Final bill was $458.00 and the work was very bad. Did not put the exhaust on properly so I had to take it back. No one is ever available during lunch so I had to drop it off and make another trip out to pick it up. After looking at their second attempt to make things right, it appears they used a hammer to move my muffler? It is full of dents and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't start to leak from these idiots banging on it with a metal hammer. Never will go back here and strongly recommend taking your vehicle somewhere else!\r Pros: Though I could trust small town mechanics... Cons: I could have done a better job myself. more
