Bait and switch! The estimator came out to review my 86 year old mother's apartment. She showed him everything - every closet, patio, cabinet, etc. He gave her a ""binding"" estimate and told her that they would stand by the price he gave her based on the belongings he viewed that day. Moving day came and they brought the ""temporary"" truck to pick up her stuff. This same estimator (Scott) got the truck half loaded then proceeded to tell her she had well over 100 boxes and the driver who will ultimately take her household items would not take it all. The contract said nothing about a maximum number of boxes. They told her she either had to pay another $300 - or unpack all the smaller boxes and merge them into bigger boxes to include less boxes. Half of her things were already on the truck and at 86 years old - this was impossible for her. She stood by the contract that stated it was a binding amount and NO mention of quantity of boxes used for her belongings. Ultimately, Scott was told by the office he had to pay the difference. He then told her he wouldn't take any more items and forced her to leave things behind. He even asked her why she was taking her canned groceries because she could just ""buy more"" at her now town. Not the point - not his job to judge what she's taking - just take what you promised!!! Now it's a week later - and the contract promised her delivery by 8/15 and the truck has not even left southern california. They won't return her calls, they won't give her any updates. They are trying to take advantage of an 86 year old woman who only survives on social security payments and has a heart condition! BEWARE! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They promise you the world in the beginning to get the contract - then change the terms in the middle of it all (nothing new in this industry).
Cons: everything - incompetent, liars, dishonest
