Beware of the bs 2/18/2012

This was my second time having my car serviced here. This place is horrible. First problem, they schedule u for appointments and dont honor the appointment time. Also, they lie beyond belief. These people told me the courtsey vehicle doesn't run on Saturdays and I have seen.with my own two eyes this vehicle on the streets several Saturdays. They offer people cabs for you to pay the fair and have to pay the fair back to pick up there vechile. And picture they decide who cars get serviced on first. Dont be fool I have had bad service here on two occasions. I will never use Royal Honda to have my car serviced. I am willing to drive to Richards Honda in Baton Rouge where they dont have gimmicks or tricks up there sleeves. more

I purchased a new vehicle in 12/09 and another one in 11/11. The sales and finance personnel were wonderful. They strive to do everything to satisfy the customer even as far as delivering paperwork to the customers location. Both vehicles were detailed and spotless prior to my taking delivery. The vehicles were delivered as scheduled with no wait when I arrived. The finance manager was very efficient in completing the paperwork in a timely manner. I also use the service department for all preventative maintainence and repairs. I have never had a problem with my service advisor. My only dissatisfaction with the service department would be that for oil changes and tire rotation the wait is sometimes more lengthy than I like or have time for but that's because Royal Honda gives good customer service, does excellent work and has lots of customers. This only indicates that the dealership is good since it is always so busy in the service dept. Over all I'm completely satisfied and would never purchase or have my vehicle service at any other dealership. more

Deceptive service department. Does not stand behind warranty. Honda Odyssey has a terrible transmission. My "99 has been rebuilt or replaced 5 times, including original.. Twice by Royal Honda. First time 7mos. next time 2mos. Was told not to bring it back..would not stand behind warranty. more

Very poorly managed dealership 3/18/2011

Had a serious problem trying to lease a vehicle. Finance person using deceptive practices. Called the General Manager of this dealership, Wayne Gonsoulin. Got his voicemail and left a message requesting an urgent call back. No response received. This dealership is not to be trusted. more

Poor Customer Service 2/5/2011

Royal Honda service department is deceptive and dishonest. They do NOT honor Honda engine warranty jobs and the General Manager hides behind his voicemail and rude receptionist. I would NOT recommend dealing with this dealership if you want a Honda. more

New Car 12/3/2010

Good: I like that everyone is dressed professionaly and not sleezy. They have lots of christmas decorations up. Salesperson very informative about the car.. Bad: Really busy place.. Improvements: Need to have more Odysseys in stock. I know its new but Honda needs to make more.. Other: Whole process could have been faster but not too bad overall.. more

Good: When I bought my car, the salesmen were nice of course because they're trying to get as much of your money as they can.. Bad: They parts/service dept. is awful. Over priced for no reason, only for the receptionist to be rude and the maintaince workers are rude as well. Only a few nice ones who stand out.. Improvements: The service dept. Is in great need of improvements. I don't care about the free coffee and the flat screen, when I am being negelcted as far as service goes. The damn free wifi doesn't even work.. Other: I came in one day, at about 3:55 without the knowledge that the service dept. does not accept any more cars after 4pm. I pulled in and one of the maintaince guys was looking at me with an unwelcoming stare how professional is that? My money helps pay your salary. I won't be going there for my service. As I mention before the women except for maybe one were unapprochable at the service counter, I mean just total cunts. I left that final and last day irritated and ready to yell at the whole dept.. more
