There are a few things in the big city that one can rely on. Bud McBain, that 'Sitter' woman, and the Roxy. I am writing from 1968, and am wondering how Oshburg turned out in 2010. There's a little cement mixer company here that has great potential, the pants company is thriving, and Satori is poised for expansion. Perch dwindling, West End may make it! Pros: Chefs Know Food. Cons: History Repeats Itself. more

good food 10/9/2008

When growing up in Oshkosh, one of the best places to go out for good food was to the Roxy. It's been there forever and always seems to retain it's quality and reputation. Although I haven't been there in many years, I wouldn't hesitate to stop in again for a good meal, more

The Roxy Supper Club is a great place to eat. They have a very large variety of food from hamburgers and french fries to Prime Rib on Saturday nights, with King Cuts the size of a large roast!\r \r The restaurant is very nicely decorated and the best part is you can go in there in shorts and a tee shirt or a very nice dressy outfit and have a wonderful time. They also have room for banquets and small parties and a nice bar so that if you have to wait for a table, you can sit at the bar and visit until you are able to get a table. more
