Authentic smokehouse with the best pulled pork and brisket we have ever had in Ohio! I actually like Hoggy's ribs a little better, but that's because of my Kansas roots preferring a more vinegar based sauce, but the ribs themselves are delicious. Sides are also top notch, and I didn't try the wings, maybe next time. Excellent find Cris! We will be returning again and again! more

I've hit this hole-in-the-wall joint about 5 times now, and there is no question about...BBQ done right! Slow roasted pulled pork, over-night smoked brisket, and 4 hour smoked ribs...all moist and tender! This place has the best brisket I've ever had, and that's saying something coming from a guy who has his own smoker! This place has a line from the time its open, until the chow runs out. That's right...no shortcuts here...when they run out of something, that's it for the day. Whether take out, or dine in, the food is served the same way...you get you meat in a separate container (in .5 lb. increments), buns in a bag, and sides in their own plastic containers. This place main focus is take out and catering, and the menu is set up that way. You order your meats and sides in pounds, and its all bagged up for you. They do have a very cramped and small dine-in area...Id say about 12 seats, so going dine-in might be a challenge. You should have another plan just in case...there is a real nice park right down the street. This place is the BBQ bomb...a true to the bone BBQ joint!! Rt 62 is the most amazing BBQ experience in Ohio! You will be hard pressed to find anything close to RT 62's Turkey, Ribs, pulled pork and chicken and Brisket! Pros: The best turkey I have ever eaten! Cons: Everything is so good, I have a hard time deciding! more

Want some GREAT bbq, go to Johnstown, Ohio. Give them a call and take it home. They are the best in the Columbus Area. It is very good if you like good long smoked pork, ribs, turkey. This place has great food and service for an amazing price. My company has used them several times for catering and the price is just to good to be true. They give you more than enough food and even better service. I have also enjoyed there food with my family and nothing is ever disapointing. The food is so wonderful and there is always a ton of it. It is the backyard down home food but with no mess and wait like you have at home...It is one place that never lets me down.\r \r Go try there food, or even order some food for a party, meeting, or evening in. This restaurant I highly recommend either for someone to dine alone or with family. They have the best barbecued chicken wings I have ever tasted and the macaroni and cheese is to die for!!! It is a smaller place but very clean and very friendly workers--makes you feel like you are at home. My kids enjoyed it as well! Ribs are really popular (and delicious) and so you ought to call ahead and reserve them if you really want them. The corn is awesome as are the cheesy potatoes and also the greens. Bring your appetite as you will get a lot of food (probably enough to take home). Really good prices. Pros: delicious food and a lot of it Cons: really small eating area. more
