Route 30 Pancake House

I went to this restaurant this morning and I have been sick all day from it. The food was rubbery and greasy, the coffee was not refilled in a timely manner and the waitresses all looked like they had been cleaning toilets all morning. The owner or manager ran into me when I was on my way to the bathroom and he didn't look at all regretful. Overall, I'm so angry that we paid for this meal, as I have been in the bathroom all day from it. Pros: I am now five pounds lighter b/c it gave me a bad stomach ache. Cons: EVERYTHING!!! more

I never thought anyone could mess up breakfast until I visited the Pancake House on Rt 30. We were not greeted promply upon arrival. When a line formed behind us, the hostess sat another party that arrived after us because they had no order. The waitresses were dirty, as was the owner. Service was not friendly. Coffee was not refilled in a timely manner and the food was terrible. My parents both ordered over easy eggs that arrived runny and under cooked. I ordered fruit in place of hashbrowns and received a couple pieces of nasty pineapple. My wife ordered chicken and eggs - the chicken was overcooked and rubbery and she asked for cheese for the eggs and they showed up with a slice of unmelted American cheese on top. We all felt sick afterwards and experienced stomach aches for hours. I can't believe we paid for this meal. To top it off, the lock on the men's room door was broken and I had to go with the fear of someone walking in. Very crowded, noisy, zero ambience. Despite the fact that I do enjoy their burgers (well when I'm desperately hungry), do not dine here. It is a horrible experience. The food is gross, it's dirty, and there's crappy service. The prices would be reasonable if it were any other place but not for what you get here. Its total garbage. I had my order messed up on two occasions. Its so small that its noisy. And next door is a car audio place so you can hear that occasionally. The owner is also rude. Pros: It's close to my house. LOL Cons: Bad service, bad food, dirty more
