Roundagain Records is the best used record store in the region. If you are into analog gear and vinyl playback, this is the place to go! Roundagain also offers an eclectic collection of CD's for those of you who prefer that format. There's also a nice selection of used audio gear and you can buy tickets to upcoming events at Lupo's (another Rhode Island Institution). What makes this shop different from others? Strict attention to condition, organization (alphabetically and by genre) and cleanliness (a record cleaner is used to clean the vinyl before it hits the shelves). Round Again is a quality establishment with a great selection of records. All of the records are always in great shape as the owner meticulously inspects everything before he buys it and puts it through his record cleaner before it is set out to be sold. I have been going in there for years and have never once been spoken to about the way I was handling the records. As long as you aren't tossing the things around like frisbees you'll be fine. Had the previous reviewer treated the store and merchandise with respect, the owner would not have been forced to comment about the way he was handling the records.\r \r Definitely be sure to stop by Round Again Records if you ever find yourself on Wickenden street or are in need of some good tunes. I have had to go into the store on about 10 occasions w/my 15 yr old son who collects vinyl.Every time we go in there the guy behind the counter always manages to have some smart comment to make about the way my son or myself handle the records. I am an adult and dont need to be reprimanded about my holding of a record. It never fails,he always says something.One time we bought 4 records,about a month later went back to ask him if would buy one back,and he snickered,wouldnt even look,and said 'No chance'!!
