Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Had Brandon install our new water heater on 4/30/14. He did a great job - was on time, fast, clean and also gave my husband and I a rundown of how it worked, and safety precautions on what levels to NOT set it to unless we wanted the possibility of some serious burns. Took away the old water heater and all the packaging for the new one as well, leaving us with the booklet in a handy dandy envelope attached to the side of the new heater. No surprises on the bill either - kept within his estimate. Another great experience with Roto-Rooter. :) more

The representative, Perna, was very quick to respond. Had the clogged toilet flushing in less than 15 minutes. Perna was professional, courteous, and personable. Pricey for 15 minutes but still highly recommend. more

9:15 AM toilet not flushing and downstairs drain slow. Called the office and was assured that someone would be out within two hours. Fifteen minutes later, Chris called and said John would be here in thirty to forty minutes. Thirty minutes later, John Cronin rang the bell! His uniform was neat and clean and he presented himself in a very professional manner. He determined the problem to be localized and cleared the clog. No cleanout needed. Toilet working. We had a massive, all house backup in our rental home one Sunday evening. Roto-rooter came in and knew exactly how to access the an awkward cleanout on an old home, and then found it required complete drain replacement in front of the house. Each technician (four total) were extremely service friendly and communicated perfectly to us throughout the process. It took many hours to complete, and the job was much more expensive than we would have liked for a rental home, but I'm glad they were so responsive and helpful. Our tenants moved back that next day. For the kitchen sink backing up we needed help ""Fast"" on the Labor Day weekend. Roto-Rooter set up a call with in 2 hours. Luis came by and I must say was one of the most helpful and professional service techs we've ever seen. He set up the roof access ""snake "" and was done in ~ 40 minutes. He offered advice to avoid future problems and provided a 6 month warranty. I hope we don't need them for this again but for a similar issue I will call them back! more

I normally call Roto-Rooter for cloggede drains but this time I thought I'd try a ""discount"" service. Since they were delayed in getting to my home I called Roto-Rooter before they arrived.The discount plumber came and were very rude. They didn't seem to be very knowledgable and gave me quote. I sent them packing.\r \r Roto-Rooter came as advertised, within the hour, and was very pleasant. He provided a quote which I accepted. It was the same price as the first plumber. \r \r On the phone I had been advised by the clerk to check the internet for coupons. I had printed a $50 coupon which the plumber accepted. He did an excellent job and was very pleasant about it.\r Thanks for the good work. more

Having a toilet overflow first thing in the morning on Fri July 22 was pretty upsetting, but knowing roto rooter will come out any time at no additional charge is reassuring. This was not the first time Octavius had literally bailed us out! He was polite, explained what he was doing and did a great job. more

We have used Roto-Rooter many times but this one was above and beyond. Sewer line leakage. Roto-Rooter responded immediately. The plumbers from Sunnyvale, CA saved the day. They helped bridge the gap in finding a clean team (Water Damage Experts AWESOME!!) Then proceeded to begin work the next morning. All pipes had to be replaced under the house and a new clean out installed. It was a three day job. I cannot say enough about the professionalism shown by all employees, especially Octavius Sumon Tech # 7710 and Luis Galindo, Tech #0211 and their boss Mike Gaub. Being in a hotel for three days was the worst part. We even got to check out early! The rest was pleasant because they made it pleasant to work with Roto-Rooter. They always respected my home with their little blue booties and did an amazing clean up afterward. These guys deserve a HUGE round of applause (and some serious recognition) for all the sweat and major heavy lifting involved. Thank you for rescueing us during this messy time. And Sheila at the Sunnyvale office, thanks for helping us sort out the paperwork and making it professional and pleasant to the very end. Hope to not call on you again any time soon! HA! Knew what they were doing...but as usual suggested I have a camera go thru my pipes for an extra $150. I told them that even if the camera found damage that I would not be able to have it fixed due to financial problems. more

called roto-router last night - scheduled them for this morning - they turned up - not only within the time scheduled - but called me ahed of time to confirm precise ETA.\r \r once here - understood problem - went about fixing it - checked and double checked their work\r \r louis - our man was great , personable, knowledgeable understanding - and delivered - on time - within budget - terrific - he also explained to me what he was doing and how to spot potential problems in the future.\r \r couldn't be better. more
