I recently had a sewage blockage. I called Roto-Rooter and they sent out Mel #3150. He came in and was courteous and most important thorough. After checking all sorts of options, he diagnosed the problem and went to work. He assured me that he would find and fix the issue and that it would be completed satisfactorily. He definitely knew what he was doing. After nearly 2 hours of working on the problem he fixed it and had me up and running again. The most impressive part, aside from his knowledge of how to fix it, he even cleaned up and moped the mess. Excellent service and a pleasure to work with. Thanks again Mel youre a life saver! While I hope to never need his services again, if I do he will be the one i call and ask for. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 1/29/2011 1/30/2011

Jesse #1167 came out promptly and on time. We had a problem of sewer backing up into our laundry sink tub! Jesse was able to clear it out (many roots had gotten into the tile pipes outside) and did a camera inspection to ensure all the roots were removed. We will definitely call on them again for any future service needs. more

The Best Service 1/2/2011

Steve Troeter #3116, was very friendly, knowledgeable in his skill, explained what he was doing and why, fixed the blockage, and educated me on how to keep a clean line. If I ever have another problem, I will request Mr. Troeter. Deb more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 12/27/2010

Christmas eve my bathroom sink stopped, started leaking and then started breaking into pieces as I tried to fix it. The parts were old and corroded. I called Roto Rooter at 7:45 Friday morning and they were at my door in under 2 hours. John and Mike, 2 senior plumbers came in, looked at the problems, gave me an estimate which I signed and they went to work. Even though they did more than they had expected, they stuck to the original price AND were incredibly friendly about the whole process. The sink works great and they cleaned up after themselves. It's rara to have fast, friendly professional service nowadays but I would recommend Roto Rooter to anyone with a plumbing problem. Hats off to Ron Trebec at Roto Rooter for taking care of the problem so quickly. more

Roto-Rooter plumbers 12/23/2010

After having the line cleared by John (2723), we took his advice to bring Dan (440) out with a camera to verify what he suspected was damage from tree roots. We then set up an appointment to have the sewer line repaired. They both were very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter. more

He showed me the warnings on the container and mentioned that the liquid could pool somewhere along the pipe and eat thru the cast iron. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Service was wonderful. We had a blocked kitchen drain and had tried everything we could think of and remedies suggested by others. We called the company and they sent someone out the same day, within two hours. The serviceman was courteous & professional. He spent several hours trying to correct the problem. He realized that the problem was bigger than any of us thought and had to come back the second day, at no additional charge, to finish the project. Roto-Rooter Service 11 May 2010 5/12/2010

We own a 100+ year old house in Chagrin Falls and needed a large section of the old clay tile pipe replaced. The faulty pipe was underground in a crawl space under our deck -- NOT a fun place to get to! Anyways, Roto-Rooter re-routed the pipe inside the basement, punched through the foundation and only had to cut into our driveway a little in order to completely fix the situation. Derek and his team were amazing workers -- polite, neat, explained everything incredibly well and got it done super FAST. The price was very competitive and they far exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone I know!! more

Toilet Blocked 4/18/2010

I had a blocked toilet and needed help ASAP. I called Roto-Rooter on a Sunday and they had someone out within 1 hour. Joe (#3219) told me that he could try to remove the object first and provided a quote for that work. He also indicated that if that didn't work we may have to try something else. Fortunately he was able to pass the object through and the toilet is now working great. He also replaced a flapper for me as he said the one that was in the toilet was not working properly. When he shut off the water the shut off valve began leaking and he had to replace that also. Joe did a great job and explained everything along the way and also provided quotes for each item he needed to replace.
