Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain

Thank You Roto-Rooter. First have say thanks to dispatch for listened to my long draw out story. We talked some things out and then said she could send somebody out later today. She even called me and told me the approximate time he would show up. Love that respect for the customer. \r Then Shawn came out told him about my washing machine drain that was overflowing. Mind you had just spend 3 hours snaking that same drain days earlier and it was still backing up. Was concerned it was a tree root in the pipe. Shawn said he could find the problem and do it within a time constraint. Had people coming over for dinner. He cleared the problem. I think he used almost every tool in his truck but he got it cleared. \r I personally had a great experience and was able to have a relaxing dinner party.\r Thank You for being good at your job. more

I called about a clog and they were able to send a technician out within 24 hours. Our technicia, Shawn, was very polite and professional and was able to unclog the drain quickly and with a 6 month guarantee! more

We discovered that our washer and kitchen sink stopped draining on the same day. Then, we noticed a bathroom sink was draining very slowly. This of course happened after business hours and after a long day!! We called Roto Rooter and were so pleasantly surprised to hear that they do not charge a fee for after-hour service! AND, they were able to have someone at our home within 1-2 hours! Shawn was running late, but we received a courtesy call from the company informing us that he was delayed at another call. LOVE that courtesy. Since he didn't have small snake to fit our kitchen drain, he knocked off the price of our bathroom sink since he would have to return in the morning. The following morning, he was early (GREATLY appreciated considering laundry and dishes were mounting) and provided excellent service with professionalism and cleanliness. Highly recommend. Don't even waste your time ""shopping around."" THANK YOU ROTO!!! more

Wrote a whole paragraph praising Steve McAnarry tech no 177 of Virginia Beach office but it didn't save. He was professional and efficient and found a second clean out that several plumbers before (including one 2 years ago from roto rooter) could not find. Excellent employee! more

Talk about feeling helpless! We didn't know what to do when my wife and I woke up and the toilet and bathtub were both overflowing and we both had to leave for work in an hour. My first instinct when calling a plumber is to call Roto-Rooter, and boy am I glad I did. The operator responded back to us in under 5 MINUTES (which in toilet-overflowing time is still a long, long time but hey, you can't beat that!). Shawn was on the premises at our Virginia Beach home off of Princess Anne Rd. in less than 5 minutes from that. He was quick to get to the "root" of the problem and was totally professional and calm. He saved the day and worked with us on a price which was unbelievably fair. I would certainly endorse Roto-Rooter and believe me, I'll be calling them in the future for all of my plumbing emergencies! Dave J. more

Experienced a drainage problem and called the Roto-rooter 800 number. Shawn was dispatched and arrived within an hour. Shawn took care of the problem immediately and explained each step he was taking to clear the blockage. He identified a broken line with the in-line camera and defined the best course of action for the repair and then possible reimbursement by the responsible party. Thanks for your help! more

I went to the yellow pages and picked a company with a name I was familiar with that I knew had been in business a long time. It is a name I could trust. We have been dealing with tree roots for quite some time. It was good to get some tips for the fix as my husband is also in this line of work and the second opinion was appreciated. I debated calling after hours, but they were here in about 20 min. I was very pleased with his knowledge and perserverence. more

There are no cons.. These guys were out here in 30 minutes from when I called. They to the extra time to evaluate and fix the problem.
