Worst

The food was good the prices are extremely high and the service was not so good either, there are better choices to go in the valley, I would not recommend this place.

Always wanted to try, so a group of us ordered a few different dishes. Happy to see they delivered it hot and fast, but everything was so salty it was inedible. And even people who usually douse salt all over their food agreed. We ended up trashing it all. Such a pity since it looks like a nice place. more

Great neighborhood restaurant 7/26/2011

The food is consistently good with so many choices that I never get bored eating at this restaurant. I am surprised that someone commented that the service is not good. I've always been happy with it, and the employees are friendly and seem to like being there - a nice change from many of the local restaurants. more

Healthy and Delicious! 4/28/2010

I kept hearing that Rosti in Encino was moving into a new space so when they finally opened I was excited to check it out. They moved almost across the street on Ventura Blvd still, the new space is much bigger and has a nice open vibe about it. High ceilings, tasteful decor, it looks great. Anxious to try the food, we decided to share a few options, the in-laws loved the Penne with Asparagus & Caesar Salad, I always love Hazelnuts and the Arugula and Fig Salad was perfect, lots of hazelnuts, goat cheese. etc. We also felt compelled to try the Artichoke which was yummy. The portions were great, enough to share and we even needed a few doggie bags. Check it out and see for yourself - also fan them on facebook and twitter and we'll get some cool deals! Great lunch menu 1/17/2009

I went back after a long time and was pleasantly surprised. My daughter and I took my mom for her birthday lunch. I have always loved the food, but was so pleased with the service and attention we received. They were very busy, but we never waited too long. They also have a new lunch menu that is delicious, affordable and just the right amount of food. more

Bad Service, Ultra Pricey and Cramped Space 8/27/2008

I went to Rosti one Friday night and the place was crowded but they found a table for me and my fiance. We waited for 15 minutes to have the menus handed to us. We waited another 30 minutes to have our orders taken. We actually had to go to the counter, call their attention before a waiter came over to take our orders. After orders were taken, we waited for another 40 minutes and our orders were never sent to the kitchen! We left the place ditching our orders and went to Bucca Di Bepo instead! more

Love the chicken! 5/9/2008

I love the chicken & sides at Rosti. It is like Italian country comfort food to me. Last time I went (the only bummer) is that they made be purchase a whole kid's meal for my 1 year old, instead just a little side of pasta like I requested. more

I READ THE REVIEWS HERE AND IT SAID IT WAS GREAT. YEAH RIGHT THIS PLACE IS BAD. I HAD MY FOOD DELIVERED WHEN I WAS TRYING TO PLACE THE OTHER THE LADY PUT ME ON HOLD SO SHE CAN ANSWER HER CELL PHONE AND HAVE A SMALL CONVERSATION. THEN WHEN MY FOOD CAME I GOT A MEAL THE MEAT WAS 1/4 F A TENNIS BALL AND I PAID CLOSE TO $100.00 FOR 3 PLATES AND A CUP OF SOUP. BAD DONT DO IT more

Great, Great Family Restaurant 8/15/2007

I had a great time at Rosti in Encino, we were greeted promptly and with a smile. I had many different staff make sure our experience was a great one. The food came out timely and was awesome. I ordered the fish special and my husband ordered a wonderful salad( I think it was the Beet salad). Our children got colors and paper and at the end of their meal they each got a cookie which were soo yummy. I have to say that we had a great first experience at Rosti in Encino and we will definatly return with our family and friends. Pros: everything Cons: do not have any more

Okay, I have been to Rosti about 6 times. I love the Caprese and the fettucini alfredo. Other than that.....it stinks. The service is so bad, never in and out in under an hour..... Pros: fettucini alfredo....good for sharing Cons: service service service more

I MET A WAITER THERE BY THE NAME OF RICH, HE WAS VERY PERSONABLE AND WITTY. HE REALLY LIKED MY DOG.BY THE WAY, RICH LOOKS LIKE GEORGE CLOONEY. Great food, Horrible service 9/18/2006

The food at Rosti is great. Which is a bummer, because the service is awful. I don't go anymore because it's so poor. In-restaurant service is slow and surly, and they've gotten at least one order wrong every single time I've been there. Take-out is reliable, but again, sloooow.
