LOVE Dr Fox! 4/20/2012

Excess Long Waits :( :( :(:(-waited over 1:15mins 9/29/2011

They called me a couple of times to remind me of my appointment and to be their 30 mins before my schedule appointment and to fill out the forms on online so I did.. My appointment was @ 9am and I was their @ 8:25am, they had be fill out more paper work. Why dont they have fill out paperwork online if when go to the office you have more paperwork to fill out. What a wait of my time. I reutrn my paperwork back to the front desk and waited, and waited for a long time. 45 mins had gone by and asked how many do I have ahead of me and she told be 2 more, so I took my seat and watched and counted 7 woman called in. So I got up again and asked I just counted 7 woman go in and what about me I have been here for over hour and not even counting the 35 mins before my schedule appointment . She went to check and I stood for 15 mins and waiting for her to come back. By this time I was upset to the point of no return. So I went back to my seat and waited until she can back and asked again what is the hold up. She went back to check after waiting an additinal 10 mins I just could not take it anymore and told the woman seating next to her in the front to let her know to cancel my appointment by this time it was already 2 hours over wait time. After I left she called me and ask if I would return because they were ready to see me know or if I wanted to reschedule my appointment. WHAT IN THE F**** are they thinking. I told her I would call her when I am ready, which would be NEVER!!!!! The doctors may not care about my time but I sure do!!! I dont care if you are the BEST doctor, nobody should have to wait over 2 hours. more

couldn't ask for a better dr 8/21/2010

i have been going to Genesis Women's Care since 2002,starting with Dr Ross until his passing.I was a little nervous about seeing another Dr until i met Dr Fox. He helped me through some other health issues i had before i became pregnant with my daughter whom i gave birth to on August 17th 2010.Dr Fox is truely a pleasant and caring person.I had different issues in this pregnancy but he really looked out for my unborn child and I. I think we get spoiled in life sometimes thinking we are never supposed to wait, but thats life you will have to wait sometimes.Think about it children are being born everyday so expect to have some kind of wait sometimes. Genesis Women's Care has been great to my family,so much so that I traveled from downtown Nashville area all the way out to Smyrna to go to this practice. In the Bible Genesis is the beginning, and Genesis Women's Care has been a GREAT beginning and end to my family! Thanks Genesis Women""s Care,Front Desk Staff and Doctors more

Very pleased 7/14/2009

I have been going to Genesis Women's care since 2007. I am very pleased with the individualized attention that I receive there. It is very easy to get an appointment that works with my schedule and I have never experienced abnormally long wait times. They take the time to answer all of my questions, clearly and completely. Pros: caring, compassionate doctors and staff more

Genesis Women's Care 8/21/2008

I have been a patient of Genesis's Womens Care for 10 years. I have always been well pleased with office staff and Physicians. There has been times where I had to wait to see the doctors but it is worth it because when it is my time to be seen, it is as if I am their only patient. This is an OB/GYN office, babies are born everyday, so when I have to wait for them to see me I know it s because they are at the hospital caring for other women. more

Long Waits and Other Nightmares 11/25/2007

I had been going to Genesis for annual check-ups for some time. However, since I became pregnant I have had nothing but problems there. First there are the 45 minute to 1 hour wait times. I even scheduled an appointment at 7:30 one morning, thinking that there would be nothing keeping them from seeing me on time if I were in the first slot of the day, but the office staff waited forty minutes before telling me I had to fill out paperwork before I could go back! When I complained (I did not use any harsh language, just asserted that the situation was a problem for me) the office manager blew me off, saying she wasn't going to blame anybody (re: we're not going to take any steps to improve service and see that this doesn't happen again). Once again I didn't get seen until an hour after my scheduled appointment and I was very late for work. At that same visit the Nurse Practitioner prescribed medication to me that was very closely related to one I had had a severe allergic reaction to in the past. The name of that medication was listed on both my new patient paperwork they had on file for years and the new pregnancy paperwork they had me fill out that same morning. If the nurse had checked it in the database she would have found this out before risking my health and the health of my baby. Luckily my Pharmacist caught it. Also be aware that if you are given an ultrasound there, they will run it over your belly for a minute or two and then do a more thorough trans-vaginal scan. In my case they could have determined what they needed to know (age of fetus) by only doing the trans-vaginal, but the nurse told me that it was their standard of care to do both. Then I was billed $500 for EACH, and my insurance company would only pay for one because only one was necessary. I called the billing department 5 days ago and so far they have not returned my call. I have since changed to another practice where I can tell they value their patients time and I am very happy there. Cons: Rude and inefficient office staff, very long waits, did not check medication allergies more

A lovely person and an excellent Dr... but expect a long wait 4/23/2007

I loved the care I've received from Dr. Ogle - the only beef I have is the wait in the waiting room. It's too long. Most of the time, my appointment started 45 minutes - hour late. When I figured in the drive to and from the office and the wait to see the doctor ... it just took up too much of my day. \r \r I'm sad to say that this is the reason that I'm going to look for another OBGYN. \r \r She is an excellent doctor though!\r \r I have a problem with doctors who make their patients wait and wait and wait to see them... these are the same doctors who charge you the full price of a visit and/or cancel your appt. if you are 15 minutes late. Why is the doctor's time more valuable than mine? After all... don't they, in effect, work for me? Pros: excellent care, excellent staff Cons: waiting room time - too far away from my house, too more
