I had the WORST toothache last Friday night. I called 3 dentists who said it was too late to see me, and I would have to go to the Emergency room! My 4th call was to Dr. Kaplan- they told me he was "heading out the door", but he would stay for me. I ran down, he took out my aching tooth, and NO MORE PAIN! I would recommend this guy to anyone, he saved me from a weekend of pain! more

Great Dentist! 4/23/2013

I saw Dr. Kaplan with a terrible toothache. From the first call, their office was great. The staff was extremely helpful, got me in right away. They took care of all my insurance matters, offered a payment plan for the other work I will need. The doctor treated me with great respect, explained everthing, without lecturing me. He was gentle, and took care of my problem quickly. What a great experience! I would highly reccommend this dentist to anyone! more

  • Ross A. Kaplan, DMD Dr. Kaplan graduated from Clark University, and was rewarded with DMD degree in 1991 by Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He obtained his supplementary experience during his fellowship at the Yale University Dental Residency Program, in New Haven, CT. He has been practicing in Hamden since 1992. Dr. Kaplan is a member of many professional associations such as The American Dental Association, The Connecticut Dental Association, The New Haven Dental Association, and The Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Kaplan lives in Orange with his wife, Judy. He has participated in many charitable events, including several years at the “Mission of Mercy” free dentistry event, held in CT yearly. Dr.
